Ashlen did an amazing job with microblading my brows! I wish I had found her sooner. I didn't have much eyebrow hair since I stupidly shaved them off when I was a teenager so Ashlen was basically working with a blank canvas. That is extremely tough. The fact that she was able to make my brows look better than I can (I've been drawing on my brows for 18 years, so I've had a lot of practice) really tells me that she is an artist. She listened to exactly what I wanted, she took her time mapping out my brows before we got started and she was very gentle. I'm extremely picky about who I go to for beauty related services, especially on my face. One of the reasons I had waited so long to do anything permanent to my brows was because I couldn't find anyone I thought was good enough...and I searched all over. I could tell by Ashlen's work that she would do a stellar job and after talking with her I knew I had found someone I could trust. Ashlen has a very gentle touch and really takes her time with lashing. Her product is the the best I have had, it is soft but resilient and doesn't fall off easy when I wash my face. I had the best experience this evening with microblading. Ashlen was amazing! She was professional, patient and sweet. She answered every question with ease as I was extremely nervous about the process and wanted to make sure my brows came out looking natural. I am 43 years old and my eyebrows were starting to thin, particularly on the tails. I did a ton of research on brow artists and saw some amazing work and some that had room for improvement. I finally narrowed down my choice to Ashlen at Glo Boise. I made an appointment and she got me in within a couple of weeks. She talked to me on the phone and I had a ton of questions. She answered them more honestly and more transparently than I could've ever imagined. She gave me the pros and the cons and let me make an informed decision on getting microblading done. This was so appreciated since she didn't try to give me a sales pitch. Her professionalism on this alone was outstanding. I was sold. Amazing portfolio and complete honesty. Yes, please! On the day of my appointment, she did my initial microblading session. She put some gel on my eyebrows to numb me for a while before she started. Unfortunately, she was out of the higher strength of numbing agent, so I wasn't quite as numbed up as I would have liked and she was honest with me once again, telling me that it might be a little painful. I found this to be true. Beauty is pain, right?! She told me that she had ordered the higher strength gel and would hopefully have it for me next time. The appointment took about 2 1/2 hours and she was absolutely meticulous. When I left, my eyebrows were super dark! The color faded a little bit and they were absolutely gorgeous after three or four days. Then, I started peeling. I'm not going to lie, this process takes patience. I texted Ashlen and she immediately texted me back with a picture of "the stages of microblading" emojis and it was hysterical, but so true and so helpful! After about six weeks, I went in for my touch up and she was once again, totally meticulous and walked me through every single step of what she was doing. She put the numbing gel on and gave ample time for this to set in and take effect. She is a complete perfectionist and she does not let you off of her table until your eyebrows are perfect. The touch up took about an hour and a half and this was slightly less painful than the first time, but not too bad. I will put it that way. It has now been a couple of months since my touch up session and my eyebrows are absolutely gorgeous. I am so glad I did my homework and went to Ashlen instead of someone else. I have friends who have had microblading done and spent less money. Let's just say you pay for what you get. Ashlen is truly an incredible artist and her work is worth every penny when it's your face on the line. I would recommend her very highly. You will not be disappointed! read more

Didn't work. ALL pigment fell out. She did at least try again but it still fell out. She never got back to me for my final follow up. I never got any of my $400 back. In addition she came across as unfriendly and dismissive throughout my experience. I'm very disappointed. read more
