Today I received an email saying that the onus was on me to fix the problem through my own bank. My bank, like myself, was ignored by BNL after waiting in good faith the 15 day period. I feel I have been robbed of 500 euro by a major European bank. It's nothing to them but a lot to me. During my holiday I had to borrow from friends. I was ashamed. Yet, BNL has no shame. The lady was so rude and yelled at me and said she only helps Italian speaking people and I should go to the train station if I can only speak English. This was an easy transaction that didn't require that much talking. Worst experience I've had in Italy or pretty much anywhere in the world for that matter.
