The Place: I'm told this is a recently opened restaurant by my colleague who lives in Nürtingen…read more It was warm and welcoming on a cold rainy day and they had an open area for groups, an outside space and by the bar a more intimate space for smaller parties. The Service: This is really the story of this restaurant: THE BEST SERVICE I have had in germany... out of any of my trips... attentive and quick to respond. Very friendly and willing to suggest and show excitement about their restaurant... this is something special... The Food: Their speciality is woodfire grilled pizza and you could smell the fire the moment you came in... it made my mouth water. The pizza crust was thin and well cooked. The ingredients were flavorful and delicious. The Diavalo Pizza was hot but not so hot that you couldnt eat it like some.. They have a very good beer and wine list for me. But I cannot stop thinking about the Frutti del Mare salad we ordered... the seafood was VERY fresh and you could tell that this salad was hand mixed with fine ingredients and prepared for us. Many times it seems that you get a "scoop out of a pot" but this was very well done. Today we had an extremely pleasant surprise. We wanted to order 3 Pizzas to go and since they had 4 that hadn't been picked up but were still very fresh, they just gave them to us !! That was very a generous and pleasant present and we were pleased to see that they care about customers and sustainability. Ich war schon oft bei da Carmine essen und das mit meiner sehr wählerischen italienischen Freundin, die nur dort wirklich zufrieden zu stellen ist. Heute hatten wir ein besonderes Erlebnis: als wir ankamen um uns eine Pizza zum Mitnehmen auszusuchen, erzählte uns der Koch, dass kürzlich vier Pizzen bestellt und nicht abgeholt wurden und er sie uns gerne schenken würde, wenn wir möchten. Wir waren total überrascht und erfreut von so viel seltener Großzügigkeit und Kundenfreundlichkeit! 5 Sterne dafür! Und für die immer gleich bleibende hervorragende Qualität! :-)

They were all soooo goood!!!! The restaurant is spacious and clean-option to sit indoor or outdoor. Staff is friendly. And you cant beat their price. I would highly recommend this place! Will definitely revisit if I'm back in Goppingen, Germany
