I will go back, of course, because I am a desperate foreigner who occasionally craves coffee-flavored ice cream that doesn't remind me of Turkish coffee, but please, if you are the manager of this place, step up your game. They have no less than 10 people on staff at 9.30 at night on a Friday and the two guys at the counter are both - get this - eating ice cream in front of the cash register. That is something you do OUT of plain sight, dude. Upstairs the remaining 9 employees are sitting around a table smoking and chatting. Meanwhile the girl's bathroom is literally covered in shit with toilet paper all over the place (except for in the dispenser, of course), so there is nothing to wipe with at all and my hands are all wet as I leave. Since my hands were wet I could not get a firm grip on the door handle and therefore got basically stuck in the bathroom. The door gets stuck. So I'm like maniacally wiping my hands on my jeans and trying to yank the door open. Miserable experience. Also, a word of warning - don't bother with milkshakes at this place. For 10TL you get 3/4 of a small plastic cup filled. Hardly worth it, I'm afraid.

we had a really nice meal here while in istanbul. we were walking around the nisantasi…read moreneighborhood, which is like the rodeo drive of istanbul. after shopping, we wandered onto a street lined w/ restaurants, including juno. folks in istanbul really like to dine al fresco, since the weather is so nice. we found that in each restaurant, there were a million seats available inside and none on the outside. we waited a while for a table outside but were able to have drinks and chat w/ the hostess, whose english was very good. i got a salmon dish w/ some cauliflower and spinach, and it was quite delicious. my husband got a veg panini, which he liked as well. this is a good place to come if you don't feel like having turkish food but want to enjoy good weather, good company, good wine, and good food.
