This last time was the straw that broke the camel's back. The air conditioner had broken. I fault them not at all for this, but for the way they handled it. I stepped out of line to ask the manager Craig if he would open more check-out lines. He, in this order, rolled his eyes, turned his back and snarled, "uh, what does it look like I'm doing right now??" I'm sorry but if you're the manager, you're doing exactly the OPPOSITE of what a manager SHOULD be doing: keeping the customer happy. The moon jumps were small and as seen on notices posted, were for little ones under age 8. While a separate room had a small billiards table, Xbox and foosball table it wasn't much entertaining for older kids. The pool table was lopsided, the top portion torn in places, white ball missing, and one pocket broken (so pool balls put in the were falling out). The foosball table worked just fine. The Xbox was set up with Minecraft which was nice, but it only had one controller and the tv was a tiny 19" or so. The hosts invited a group of talented "actors/entertainers" for a show so that was a hit. The built in stage was an adequate size to accommodate the group. There was even enough room for little ones to join them in a dance party afterwards. The women's restroom had two stalls which was good. Only downside to the restroom was that there were no napkins or hand dryer. That should be there, especially if a reserved party is expecting guests who will utilize the restrooms. Another downside was the parking. Their tiny parking lot was quickly over run so the hosts were outside letting people know the other places they could park (in our case down the street at another business). I realize there's not much they can do about that given the location, but it is inconvenient. Overall, the walls were brightly painted and the building itself was well maintained. I'd recommend this place if 1) your child and most of invited guests children are around 6 and under and 2) if it's a relatively small party 50 guests and under (including kids)

I'm an Event Designer. I was called after the event to tear down and collect items. (1) Just as I was walking in, I caught a female employee yank the extension cord of my LED sign. That sign is expensive!!! (2) Because there was a prior event, I only had 1 hour to setup (my work predominantly focuses on balloons and 1 hr is tough) which thankfully I was able to finish on time. So when I went back to retrieve my items I took that opportunity to take pictures. As I was doing so that same girl turns off the lights fully knowing that I was taking pictures. How extremely RUDE! She could have at least warned me. (3) This same employee had the keys to lock up the business and had such terrible demeanor which makes me question the dignity and quality of the business. Customer Service is by far one of the most important assets of a company and at the end of the day it's Big Blast's name on the line. Event Designers be warned! Your items can come out damaged.
