Lockers are less expensive than rooms. Getting a room gives you more privacy and also a chance to rest. It's also fun to leave the door open in case you click with someone walking by. There are 3 "Deluxe Rooms" that are larger than the rest and have a small hallway window with blinds. Those are the best. Bring flip flops or shower sandals to walk around in. You can also buy them there. Best times are Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoons, but I've heard there are "rush hours" at noon during the week and around 5-7pm when it gets really busy for a few hours. The steam room is dimly lit and really fun and they have a sauna too. There's a nice outdoor patio with a fountain where you can take sun on lounge chairs. There are 2 video rooms for groups with lots of seating. There are also "play rooms" you can check out. There's a bathroom upstairs and then downstairs there are several showers and also two bathrooms. You can always bring your towel back to the front desk for a new one and they also offer larger towels. If you want a new towel you just have to ask. The staff is constantly cleaning everything and the steam room and showers look great. If you're hungry, they have a bar where you can order snacks, juices and soft drinks. Give a tip personally to the staff on duty at the desk and the guy who clean rooms as it's a tough job and they work hard cleaning. They will change your sheets with new ones if you ask nicely (I always leave a tip for this) and make sure your room is in order; they are super sweet, especially José.
