I say this because, I was in a horrible hit and run accident on a motorcycle. Not only physically, but mentally, was I damaged from the inside and out. After working with the insurance company regarding my numerous medical bills and almost settling for a pay out of just my time spent out of work, I was then convinced that I needed to dig deeper and work with a lawyer regarding my case. Feeling broken and lost, I contacted Robert and told him my story. Immediately after I finished telling him my story, he took everything into his own hands and told me I deserved so much more for all my pain and suffering. I did not have to do any work after that, all I needed to do was trust that he was going to get me what I deserved and he was going to get me justice. I never experienced physical pain the way I did after my accident, the kind of physical pain that doesn't go away. The kind of pain that you feel on a daily basis, now limiting the activities you can do because of your new physical state of being. Well, it has been almost a year, and now because of Robert, do I feel like I have been given a second chance. Robert has changed my life, all I needed to do was trust him, I did just that. While he worked so hard to negotiate all of my medical bills and work to get me the settlement I deserved, I did nothing but trust in him, that he was going to get everything taken care of. We inquired about Real Estate purchase. Our purchase was sale by owner. The phone provided goes directly to Ravi so that is a huge plus. He answered very quickly a question I had over the phone. He sounded like a nice person. Not many if any attorneys answer the phone without an appointment first at least not any of the ones we were looking at before Ravi. We are giving him four starts because unfortunately, he doesn't meet in person. Because we couldn't find many reviews or comments about him for us an in person meeting was crucial. I understand not everyone requires that, but if you do you should be aware. Most Real Estate lawyers don't do first consultation in person so we don't hold this against him too much, but the other lawyers we looked at came recommended and were reviewed so we felt like we knew who we were working with on our purchase so in person for us in this interaction was something we were hoping to get. He did sound extremely busy and mentioned this during our conversation. We understand buying directly from the owner is a bit more work for the attorney and I definitely felt that from our conversation. His fee is extremely reasonable which can explain why he is very busy. It was the best fee we found for this type of transaction. Ultimately because of the lack of reviews and limited availability we decided to work with someone else. I would strongly caution anyone considering Morici-Longo and Associates for a personal injury case…read more While going through the deposition process and building the case they were very friendly and engaging that led to believe the whole process would be that way, but I was incorrect. Throughout my experience once the case was built, it became evident to me that their approach prioritized convenience and quick resolution over securing the best possible outcome for me as a client. My case wasn't simple, however they were aware of the complicated details before taking it. Settlement Negotiation Failures - My attorney initially recommended settling for a significantly lower amount than what I ultimately secured by pushing back. In fact, by taking a more proactive role in negotiations, we were able to achieve 2.1x more than their initial recommendation in one area--a glaring indication that they were willing to leave money on the table rather than fight for the client's rightful compensation. Lack of Diligence on Liens - Rather than challenging inflated medical liens, they appeared content to pay excessive amounts without much scrutiny. By taking matters into my own hands, I was able to reduce one lien payment by a staggering 6x--something I believe my legal team should have done as part of their fiduciary duty. This demonstrated to me either incompetence or a complete lack of concern for maximizing client recovery. Apathy Toward Client Interests - At every stage after depositions, they seemed more interested in wrapping things up quickly rather than advocating aggressively for my best interests. Whether it was rushing negotiations or failing to push back on lien reductions, their approach consistently leaned towards what was easiest for them rather than what was most beneficial for me. While they may have handled the basic legal process, their performance fell far short of what I believe anyone should expect from a competent personal injury attorney. During the divorce itself, I had a positive relationship with the firm and generally trusted their work and billing. I appreciated the attorneys' efforts during what was a very difficult time in my life. Unfortunately, my experience during the post-decree proceedings was quite different. Legal fees increased substantially, and after I began reviewing the invoices more carefully, I identified billing issues that required corrections. I also became concerned about repeated internal attorney conferences, repeated reviews of certain records, communications with third parties that I was not informed about contemporaneously, and charges for work that, from my perspective as the client, produced limited practical benefit. At the same time, there were occasions when I waited several days for responses to questions concerning an active case. I raised these concerns directly with the firm on multiple occasions. Although the firm did provide some credits and ultimately worked with me to resolve the final outstanding balance, the repeated billing and communication issues gradually eroded the trust I had developed with the firm during my divorce. My advice to prospective clients is not that the firm cannot provide capable representation, but to be very proactive about cost management: review every invoice carefully, ask questions promptly, establish expectations regarding internal conferences and staffing, and make sure you understand what work is being performed and why. I wish the firm and its attorneys well, but based on my post-decree experience, I would have difficulty recommending full-service representation without very close monitoring of legal fees and communication.
