The rooftop is beautiful at night and if the day is sunny - - perfect place to be in the sun! This hotel is right across from the beach, very beautiful and with the view. I could even see the ocean from my room! The accommodations are nice compared to other places I have stayed in Brazil.

The beds are uncomfortable, the wifi is useless, the toilets don't flush properly, the showers flood the bathrooms, door handles fall off in your hand, the elevators break and are slow as hell when working, and there are bugs crawling all over the walls. On top of that, you have construction noise on occupied floors, well outside the promised hours, so don't count on sleeping in ever. Also, bizarrely, the cleaning staff insists on rearranging everything every day. You didn't want that chair there, or that duvet on the bed? Too bad. I left the do-not-disturb sign out permanently just to avoid having to put everything back the way I want it every day.

You can go inside and order drinks off the menu (including draft beer), or you can go outside and order the bottles of beer that they have there. But you can't do both from inside, unless you're seated by the ledge and lean over. Another strange thing is that you have to tell the cashier what you want, pay, and then she'll tell the bartender. If you just tell the bartender he won't do anything but look at you funny. This system doesn't work very well because you'll see lines forming for the cashiers while the bartenders sit around waiting to make a drink. Is it that hard to pour a draft beer? You know someone else is going to order one. It gets packed and seems to attract the American frat boy type, though I don't know why. The music is good and loud and the crowd spills out onto the street, where you have to be careful because it attracts some shady characters. Expect to smell pot. It has a lot of character and is definitely unique, but bottom line, if every other place was closed I might come here. So would everyone else.

The club has 3 different floors with the main dance floor on the top floor. The DJ wasn't very good. He played 1 or 2 short EDM tracks then would go into a slow song. Then do it again and again. It totally killed the mood of the club. It was one of the worst club DJ's I've ever heard. The drinks were poured fast and pretty stiff. If you wanted other stuff then you had to pay more for those. Basically the all you can drink was just wells and only certain types of liquors too.
