Avoid like the plague…read more
This hotel is currently (April 2014) undergoing renovations ahead of the World Cup, and they clearly went with the cheapest bidder for everything. The beds are uncomfortable, the wifi is useless, the toilets don't flush properly, the showers flood the bathrooms, door handles fall off in your hand, the elevators break and are slow as hell when working, and there are bugs crawling all over the walls.
On top of that, you have construction noise on occupied floors, well outside the promised hours, so don't count on sleeping in ever.
Also, bizarrely, the cleaning staff insists on rearranging everything every day. You didn't want that chair there, or that duvet on the bed? Too bad. I left the do-not-disturb sign out permanently just to avoid having to put everything back the way I want it every day.
