Incredible craftsmanship and flawless communication!…read more I recently bought a new home in Port Charlotte, FL, and met Kevin, the owner of The Coast Painting and Pressure Washing, by complete happenstance. I truly believe everything happens for a reason, and I could not be more grateful. Kevin and his crew painted our entire interior--ceilings, trim, and walls--and the attention to detail is second to none. Even though Kevin is only 19 years old, he has actually been painting since the age of 14, when he started working for his father who owns his own painting business. He isn't just talented; he is highly experienced and has clearly learned from the best. I regularly work with contractors and people in the trades on renovations back in Ohio, so I know firsthand how incredibly difficult it is to find reliable, high-quality help anywhere. Kevin is wise beyond his years, exceptionally respectful, and incredibly easy to get along with. We regularly spoke about "the best ability is availability", and that's Kevin. If he isn't able to do the job, he will let you know. In an industry where many people simply won't show up for a promised job, Kevin's communication is flawless--if he was running behind or had another obligation, he called immediately to keep me updated. He worked late without a single complaint to make sure the job was finished perfectly. If you need work done, give Kevin a shot on your next project. You will not be disappointed! I don't do many reviews, but being a 51 year old man who does renovations for a living and being constantly disappointed in finding help, I feel compelled to leave one for this young man. Especially because he is in a generation that many older folks believe don't know what the meaning of work is. Well you have found your man.

After getting 4 quotes, I went with Precise Painting after meeting Tricia and looking at her reviews. Tricia walked me through the project and why each piece would be done and needed. Communication was great the entire project, from coming out to quote, getting a date that suited and through the project. The team that came out ( Tallyn and Santana) were professional, courteous, detail oriented and friendly. It was nice having them around. The house, driveway, doors, windows and lights were all well protected with tarps, plastic, tape and paper. The power wash, bonding and painting of the house, trim, doors, soffit, gutters and pool deck were all completed in under 4 days between rain as promised. Tallyn and Santana did a fantastic job. The house looks great and everything was cleaned up once the painting was completed. Nice to have such a professional team at my home. I would recommend this team and would use them for my next painting job. Thanks Tricia, Tallyn and Santana.

I asked around and was put in touch with M&B Tropical Painting. They looked like a fairly new company, but I reached out anyway. After seeing photos of their previous work, I asked them to come take a look and give me an estimate. Blake, the painter, and Maxly, the CEO and designer, arrived a few days later as scheduled. After walking through, they sent me an estimate along with some thoughtful suggestions to enhance the masculine, elegant aesthetic I was going for. One idea was to color-drench the bedroom--ceiling, walls, and trim all in the same color. I wasn't 100% sure, but I decided to take a chance and said, "Let's do it." I was blown away by the result. For six days straight, Blake was there on time and sometimes working ten-hour days. Maxly was often there too, seeing to every detail. The cost was more than fair and well worth every penny. They even told me to get back with them in a week or two with a list of anything that needed touching up or might have been overlooked. The day-to-day customer service and follow-up were exceptional. I even gave them a key so they could come and go as needed--very trustworthy. I would hire this company again and again. They're also the only painting company I'll ever recommend to friends, family, or anyone I meet. Thank you, M&B Tropical Painting--five stars all around. And to Maxly and Blake, thank you both for your expertise, hard work, keen eye, and attention to detail.
