The window is always stocked with goodies, meaning you can decide before you go in. If you should choose a cake to take away, they package it in a nice white cardboard box and tie it with brown ribbon, so they can make nice gifts too! The staff are friendly and, as I said, package your purchases nicely. Parking can be a problem, but there are various half an hour and hour spaces on the roads nearby. Definitely recommended.

Thank goodness for our wee discovery yesterday of the Montparnasse Cafe. Opened only 2 weeks ago, the fench bakery serves freshly prepared paninis, omelettes and salads as well as fabulous cakes. My strawberry tart was divine :) Oh, and they really are french too!! Its well worth the short walk from the stadium to find this wee treasure. I wish the owners good luck!

The prices they sell their items for are very reasonable too. This can get very very busy everday around lunch time but they do have quite a few staff on to cope with the lunchtime rush. Although this is only a small shop and often when i have brought a cake or pie from here i am qued outside i am never stood around waiting for a long time. Out of the back of the building they also have a small cafe too which is an excellent place if you fancy a quick bite to eat and somewhere to relax at the same time.

They are about average prices too. To the back of this shop is a resturant/cafe where you can sit and relax to have a coffee and a cake. This is often quite quiet too compared to the actual shop.
