I highly recommend Impressions Painting. One of the best experiences with a contractor I've ever…read morehad. They are a professional, well-run family business. I recently had them paint the entire exterior of my house, using 3 colors, after a prior painter did not have the skill level to do the job correctly and the results were unacceptable. I needed a company who could correct their mistakes. Impressions did not disappoint and their quote was among the most reasonable after I interviewed 7 other local painters and/or painting companies! (I also had Impressions do some interior work and the results inside are excellent as well). The owner, Emmanuel, and I did an initial walk around, and he captured everything in our contract. He is very thorough, professional, and very knowledgeable. He listened to me carefully and provided feedback and solutions for moving forward to correct the mistakes the other painter had made. The mistakes were centered around painting the frames of "Fibrex" windows by Renewal by Andersen. Andersen offers little information or guidance on how to paint their proprietary fiberglass and wood fiber window frames and the frames are tricky to paint, as I found out the hard way. I asked Impressions if they would perform a test on one of the ruined windows that I saved, just to make sure their approach would be successful, and they were happy to oblige. The test went well, and we proceeded with the entire job. Once the Impressions crew began the job, here's what impressed me: 1. Work Ethic. The work ethic and responsiveness of the entire crew and production manager was admirable. They showed up on time and worked very hard all day long. They were agreeable and did other little things like installing new weatherstripping on the garage doors. 2. Skill level and ability. The crew all knew what they were doing. The results bear that out. Everything looks beautiful. Lines are straight. The crew also performed carpentry work that included replacing siding and tearing out and replacing a rotted chicken foot support on a porch roof. They sourced and bought the material. There was no need for any subcontractors. The crew also trimmed siding along the bottom edge of our dormers to create a channel of sorts, so rainwater would flow freely down the roof shingles and not be absorbed by the siding, which can damage the siding. 3. Respect. The crew was friendly and respected our home and property. They weren't messy as they worked - they always had a trash bag nearby to keep tape or paper scraps from blowing around the yard. If they were spraying, they covered the area in plastic and were mindful of not letting any overspray get on anything else. They cleaned up every day at the end of the day, neatly storing their ladders and gear, and they asked us about the best place to store things, making sure we were okay with what they were doing, etc. They were communicative, and Jonathan the production manager was either on site or available to answer questions by phone or text, or to act as an intermediary/translator between me and the crew if needed. And they were really nice to our dog. :) 4. Thoroughness. Several times during the job, the production manager and I walked around the entire property to review the progress, and to make sure the crew hadn't missed anything. In the final walk around, anything that needed attention or touching up was addressed. Nothing was left undone. We are VERY happy with the results. Our home looks great. My confidence in the company's ability to do a great job grew more and more each day they were here. If you're getting bids for a painting job, I would definitely recommend you include Impressions Painting on your short list. Good Luck!

Then went to the back and stained the patio cover. Every night the crew would pick up and leave the place clean. Always courteous. The work is professional and every one of the people that they have hired have integrity. I recommend Impressions to anyone that is looking for a good paint experience.

Unprofessional!…read more Parson Painting LLC is the company we used for painting the exterior of our house. We paid for half of the project upfront and subsequently, professionalism ceased. Soon after they received payment communication was sporadic. We received many excuses for weeks as to why they weren't there or why they weren't coming. The work being done on our house was inconsistent at best. Brad Parson would show up unsystematically for the next 5 weeks and 2 days and work a couple of hours here and there. Brad's wife called us from the road the same week of payment and notified us that they were headed out of town to lay a family member to rest. Completely understandable. They were gone for 10 days. We reached out to Brad multiple times trying to get an update on the status of our project. His wife began contacting us saying he's busy and we're not the only job they have. We continually received little or inadequate communication and excuses for the following 5 weeks. Throughout the process, they kept bringing up random issues in which they said they would need to charge more money. One Saturday morning after not seeing or hearing from the Parson's for a few days, they tell us the job is complete and we need to pay immediately, or they will put a LEAN ON OUR HOUSE. At this point, we are startled and confused because we had no indication they were finished. A walk-through hadn't been completed nor had a final invoice with a due date been provided to us. We genuinely had no idea they were finished. The house certainly didn't appear to be finished. We informed them that when they concluded the project we would pay them promptly. After this interaction, they proceed to call my husband's place of business and claimed we were refusing to pay and that we were bad people. Meanwhile, Brad shows up is doing touch-ups around our house while his wife is calling my husband's employer. This all takes place within two hours. They continued to demand payment, they told us they needed this money for another job. They continued to yell/curse at us and made such awful threats. It was a horrendous experience. So in order that we wouldn't have to continue to deal with such terrible workmanship and frightening people, we paid them right away. We left it alone not knowing what these unpredictable people might do next. Today was the last straw; I went to Spectrum Painting to get the paint matched to FINISH THE JOB THEY DID NOT COMPLETE. Apparently, the store has a policy in which they will look up your painter and give their discount to you if the job was recent. I had absolutely no idea! I DID NOT ASK FOR A DISCOUNT OR NEED ONE. The wife begins berating me through text messaging saying don't use her business code and making threats again. I had zero idea the store performed this! I'm just over it. I hope no one has this experience and if they do please report it to prevent this from happening to other customers.
