Baked By The River is a fantastic small business recreational dispensary in the heart of Lambertville New Jersey. This is a very safe space for the Lgptq community as is the town in general. There is metered parking surrounding the shop. You can use quarters or the parking app to pay the $1.50 per hour. They have a basket of quarters when you walk in if you need some for parking. They referred to it as their free parking which was cute. The space itself is an old fire house right off the strip that runs through town. Jesse is the owner and will check you in with your ID so do not forget to bring that! The owner is super welcoming and interesting to talk to if she's not to busy. She is currently living above the dispensary with hopes of turning it into a consumption lounge which would be so perfect for the community and visitors. In addition to a great selection of cannabis they have some cool stuff for sale and table of free goodies including Narcan kits which I gladly took. They have a lot of brands and products I've never seen in the larger dispensaries around NJ which is always fun to find. stopped in for the first time because I knew they carried a product I use. I am used to the large, often guarded, dispensaries in other states and was pleasantly surprised by the more relaxed, welcoming atmosphere here. The old bank building is pretty and the reception area is decorated in a comfortable, inviting way. The products are not on display in the sales area but the sales person was helpful and made good suggestions. Compared to the places I shop in other states the prices are higher here, as I suspect they are across New Jersey. Time will tell if that will change. in the mean time I'm happy to have a close by location that fulfills my needs. read more

Baked By The River has a relaxing vibe that's immediately noticeable walking in the door, very cozy atmosphere in a great building ( an old firehouse)! I was greeted by an incredibly friendly guy who checked my license who led me into the shop. I was helped by a wonderfully knowledgeable woman who answered all my questions , and was very friendly and patient. She helped me pick out gummies that were exactly what I was looking for!
