Walk in and order at the counter then take your number and find a table. When its busy- it can be tough to get a seat, try to go earlier or later to avoid the crowds. I got a few donuts to go for friends nearby i was visiting (tres leches and creme brulee) a blackberry cream donut for me- good cream cheese based berry filling inside, not too sweet. We loved this small breakfast joint. The Egg Shack was our favorite, lots of mushrooms and cheese. Maybe cook the eggs slightly less. Home fries are hot, crisp and tasty. The Starter Shack eggs were cooked as ordered, medium. My husband thought the toast should have been toasted. Of course, he could of asked for it to be toasted more but he ate his toast with his eggs and my toast as well. Filtered water is a bonus. Super cute little bakery near the beach! I came here in the morning after watching the sunrise and it was the perfect breakfast spot. I had an iced coffee, which was refreshing , and a Dough Boy with bacon and avocado. The Dough Boy is basically a breakfast sandwich on donut bread, and it was delicious. I was looking forward to try this place, and we ( with my king Howard H. finally made it today ) It was tiny and busy place at 9:30 in the morning, Which is always a good sign .... I really am a sucker for small quaint breakfast spots. Bake shake definitely meets this definition for me. Inside is nice and homey with a small amount of seating. The menu has a ton of things on it with something for everyone. The dining is more quick service "Panera" style. I got the chicken sandwich with fries which was really good, next time I would try the buffalo chicken sandwich though. People next to me were eating some of the baked goods and they looked amazing. Finally got to try Bake Shack in Dania Beach. The parking lot was completely full which is usually a great sign but we were starving and didn't want to wait but we went in anyway. The line moves quickly and we looked at what was left of the pastries before ordering. Delicious!!! Started with the egg nog donut... Wow! Fantastic egg nog custard filled donut I shared with my wife. We both had iced Mexican coffees that were equally delicious. I ordered the two egg/bacon breakfast with eggs over medium. They were cooked to perfection! My wife had the ham and cheese quiche which she said was absolutely delicious. I really enjoy having breakfast here. I have always ordered the steak sandwich and my daughter always gets the giant pancake. We have always enjoyed the food. There really isn't anything negative that I can say regarding the food I have tried, which to be honest I have not tried the majority of their menu. The only negative thing I can say is that they are too popular for their location. They don't ever have a place to sit and you have to stand around waiting for tables to clear out. They have side parking and a grass lot on the north side of the building but there's not a lot of spaces. Inside the little "shack" has a bar area and a small dining area that rotates rather quickly. The service was great - everyone was very friendly and patient considering how busy they were for a Saturday morning. We ordered breakfast, coffee and a s'mores donut to share. The donut was amazing and so was the coffee. The breakfast sandwich I had was delicious and fresh and I loved that they had Crystals hot sauce because it's the best hot sauce in the biz. It would be nice if they had an outdoor patio/seating area maybe at the back of the building since they have limited seating. Overall, we had a great morning sitting at the window bar at Bake Shack. This is a whole-in-the-wall place with just a few tables and chairs. You feel like you've just walked into grandma's house and she's greeting you with breakfast. The service is great! It feels like a mom and pop atmosphere. The people are so sweet and our food was amazing. I had the Starter Shack and my friend had the Shack Slam. Both were equally great! Very small seating area only 2 tables of 4 and the rest all for 2 persons. Tables are very close together to the point a woman deciding which side of the table next to me to sit at stood as half her ass was hanging over my breakfast. The food arrived quickly I had the Chicken and Waffles $14. The chicken was over cooked and the oil that it was cooked in needed to be changed. They must be useing the fry oil from yesterday as it is early in the day still. The portion of chicken was small for the cost of this item. The only interesting part was the dried chilis in the maple syrup. My husband had the Egg Shack $12. he said his hash browns parts were raw and other parts dried out. He liked the corrugated cup his coffee came in and my hot tea was served in as well. It was a nice variety Evolution Brand I tried the pear. Would I come back probably not. If I want great doughnuts there is Mojo in Pembroke Pines with a better variety and you know they are fresh because when they run out they close. Also they are worth the drive. OMG. For a couple dollars more I can go to the beach get waited on and look at the ocean at the Marriott in Hollywood Beach. We've been wanting to try this place for ages, so we decided to go today since we were in the area. I knew it's small so I expected a wait but not like what we went through. They only have 9-10 small tables and a bar area with 5-6 chairs and of course all were filled along with a lot of people standing along the walls with their order numbers. Apparently from their sign, you have to order & pay first before even sitting down at a table. So figuring we wouldn't get a table with all the people standing around waiting for both their food & a place to eat, we decided we'd order to go & just ended up with breakfast sandwiches since we weren't keen on eating omelettes & pancakes in our car. It wasn't what I really wanted & I thought $8 is pretty expensive for just an egg sandwich ($1.50 extra for bacon and .75 for cheese!) but I said what the hell, I'd settle for that since this place is reviewed so highly and they have interesting coffee choices. Well during our 20 minute wait for our food, some tables opened up but they were strict on who got to sit at them based on who ordered first. Fine. I get that, but it all could go so much smoother with just letting people grab tables before ordering their food. Anyway we got our breakfast and I ended up eating the worst egg sandwich I think I might've ever had. Look at my pic -the tiny little egg white was paper thin and it's 'soft yolk' was straight out liquid all on my wrapper. That's a bit beyond soft lol. If you're going to charge $8.75 for a meatless egg/cheese sandwich, USE 2 EGGS or at least one jumbo egg people. Seriously. It was all lettuce, tomato & bread, & IMO pretty bland. The only good part was my iced horchata latte. I'll give them props for that. It was very tasty.
