We sat upstairs, which had a wonderful view overlooking the restaurant and a great atmosphere. Our group had a variety of needs - including a gluten-free diner - and everything was handled seamlessly. The Padre pesto shrimp was a hit, the kids loved Tony Soprano's Special and the butter fettuccini, and the lasagna and wine special rounded out a fantastic table. Every dish delivered. We ordered the bread balls and crispy rice to start. The crispy rice was my favorite! We had steak as our main with fries and sweet Potato. I would suggest trying the fish, our neighbors ordered it and it looked delicious (also confirmed very tasty!). We had the green margarita, wine, espresso martini and an affogato for dessert. Everything including the service was exceptional. I would definitely recommend this place for small or large parties.

Here's the revised ending: We were so excited to celebrate both of our birthdays at Acre after hearing so many amazing reviews. The property is absolutely gorgeous--one of the most beautiful restaurant settings we've ever been to. Unfortunately, that's where the highlights ended. The service was incredibly slow and disorganized, even though the restaurant wasn't busy. We gave our birthday and allergy information at check-in, but none of it was passed along, so we had to repeat everything. We also never received our appetizer despite asking about it twice. Each time we were told it was "coming right out," but it never arrived. Meanwhile, several tables seated after us were served, finished their meals, and left before we got our food. The food was surprisingly underwhelming. We wanted the whole fish, but it was already sold out, so we ordered the half chicken. It was bland, slightly sweet, and a little tough--definitely not what we expected from a Michelin-recognized restaurant. The birthday dessert was delicious, and the complimentary mezcal shot were nice gestures, but they didn't make up for the overall experience. We left disappointed and still hungry. Acre is a beautiful property, but unfortunately the service and food didn't live up to our expectations.
