In the past years every holiday party I had loved Baja Fresh Roseville location, now closed. So I assumed I would get the same quality of food from Folsom location-NOT! I ordered two of their Fajita Party Packs. When my husband went to pickup he was blown away how DIRTY the place was. When we opened the packs up, it was disgusting. Two small containers of OLD salsa( for twenty five people) No tortilla's at all! Salads had no lettuce and was filled with only OLD cabbage. I will never go to this place again. I threw out several of the containers and ran to the store to get last minute food. It deserves NO Stars and should be shut down for good!! read more

Gross, this location is actually in a gas station and it actually looks like it would be in the inside of a gas station it's very dirty. There isn't one in our town and we wanted to get our Baja fix so we drove all the way to Folsom to get some. Unfortunately it was a waste of time money and gas. This particular location is very dirty !the walls ,the dining room floor ,dining room table and the employees were not clean .the food prep area did not look very clean and I was hesitant to actually eat there but we had already driven so far so I thought we would give it a shot. read more

First time visiting this location. The service was fine and the food was ok. Ordered two chicken Diablo burritos. My friend and I both thought the burritos were dry. The Diablo is suppose to have a spicy sauce/salsa on it but you couldn't taste it at all. It definitely needed a little more of something. read more

This place is terrible. They are open 10am-10pm 7 days a week...per the signs on their doors. We walked in at 8:20 on a Friday night and were told, "Sorry, no salsa, we already put it away". Really?!? You put the salsa away an hour and a half before you close?? And why can't you go get it back out? We also got an eye roll when we asked for limes and a "Didn't we already put the limes away too?" You've got to be kidding me. This place is a joke. Either close earlier or keep everything out for paying customers WHILE YOU ARE STILL OPEN (duh). We paid $18 for a crappy burrito and bowl, then they gave us a giant side of chips that we were apparently supposed to choke down without any salsa. Gross! read more

Had to wait to order. The drink cups they gave us were dirty. The ice came out with black chunks in it. We asked to cancel the order and they couldn't do it on the spot and refund our money. We'll see if they refund our money. read more

Filthy, filthy filthy, used to be really good, I noticed there is was a change in ownership, from the dinning area to the salsa bar to the cooking area it is all filthy, 3 people where there but 2 are outside talking, nobody cleaning, it reflects the station also, the bathroom was a total disgusting mess and its not from one day use, personally will never go back after going there for years read more

My husband and I love Baja Fresh. We recently relocated to Sacramento from Nevada and were disappointed to see only one Baja Fresh in the area 40 minutes away. We drove to this one and it was worth it!! Tasted even better than the Baja Fresh we had remembered. Try the burrito smothered with salsa verde (not enchilada verde). YUM. read more

Loved it the first time when they opened. Service, quality and cleanliness have greatly diminished. Bummer. First off-- it's in a gas station. Yuck. Service is slow and they ran out of pico de gallo salsa around 6 pm on a weekday night. My kids love the peach/mango salsa, but the salsa bar is starting to look a bit dingy. If I have to give one star ok.. I guess the food was just ok. First of all this is not a real Baja Fresh, it is a gas station/speedee mart/Baja fresh. The dining area is completely trashed except two seats which are being sat in. I have been here for like 30 minutes and nobody has come out from the back to clean the area. THE WHOLE PLACE IS FILTHY! There are NO salsa cups, no napkins (which the lady rudely pointed me to when I asked if they had napkins..none there. The soda machine is completely broken so you have to hoof it to the speedee mart side to get a drink. Lol. It's totally ridiculous, comical really. Oh and the chips are burnt to a crisp and a man wanted a carne asada burrito and the lady had no idea what he was talking about.. :/ DONT COME HERE..YUK read more

To follow up on my previous review, I am disgusted with the service here at the Folsom/ Auburn location! I received my 2 tacos one of which had one piece of chicken and a spoonful of onions in which I asked for them to add chicken. No talking just grabbed my food added the chicken and handed it back, no eye contact! Then proceeded to tell a customer they're not even open because they have a large order to fill but she'll take her order but she'd only serving chicken! These girls need to be fired and who knows where management is at but this is no way to run a successful business! For the inconvenience they should offer a discount to customers and if they're closed they should have a visible sign and doors closed!!!!! Will never return! read more

So Dirty - the lady had dirt under each of her fingernails and what look like sand or dirt all over her hands and kept sniffling. Clearly no one wanted to be there. I watched her turn the meat on the grill, then wash her hands with no soap and then maybe she went to put on gloves - hard to tell. The place was filthy during our visit, the girl working provided the worst service ever. She was lazy, condescending and just rude. I've been here before and she us always like that. On a positive note, the guys always provide great service. If you go and the girl is working, you are better off leaving and returning when she's gone. Waited for about 10 mins to be acknowledged at register. Guy was just slow roasting tomatoes 5 ft away. Circled facility 3 times to chk hours, perhaps they were closed, then spoke up & asked if they were open, guy said yes. A food poison haven. My husband and I stopped here for lunch. 45 minutes after we ordered our food, we still didn't have it so we cancelled our order. We had lost our appetite watching the two people behind the counter move between preparing food and working the cash register without washing hands or wearing gloves. The place wasn't very busy and yet, people kept checking on the timing of their orders. After ordering, I went to use the Ladies' room to wash my hands and it was one of the worst restrooms I have been in. The restaurant shares space with a gas station/car wash and overall, it doesn't seem very clean. We typically like Baja Fresh restaurants and this one is not indicative of how any others we've been to operate. We decided we were reporting them to the Corporate office of Baja Fresh and to the County as it wsa just to disgusting to let it go. read more

Every time I have visited this location I have had delicious fresh food and friendly service. I love the huge burritos and the salsa bar. The restaurant is small, but clean. My mother-in-law lives in a sr. mobile home park near by and loves to for us to take her to eat here. The owner has been very willing to make changes to menu items when asked. I've never been disappointed with the food. read more

My husband and I specifically drove all the way to this location of Baja Fresh, but we will never go back. When we went inside, the tables and floors were all filthy. I'm not talking a few scattered napkins, I am talking about tables covered in spilled salsa and discarded food. It was a bad start, but since we made the drive, we ordered anyway. I ordered a tostada salad. I went and got salsa from the salsa bar and was seated. I waited a little longer than I would have liked for my order, but this wasn't that big of a deal. I did, however, become very angry when I asked the extremely rude, condescending stoner behind the counter for a fork. He informed me that there were no forks left in the whole building. I asked if he was serious and he said yes. I then asked for a refund, seeing as how it would be very difficult to eat a salad with a spoon. He gave me serious attitude about getting his manager. When she came, she did give me a refund, but didn't even offer an apology. I know stuff happens, but I its utterly ridiculous that this kid, knowing there were no forks, sold me...a salad. He could have said 'hey, maybe order some tacos' or something...but nothing. read more

We get there and the not so friendly cashier informs us that her machine does not allow her to use gift cards, that she cannot take our gift cards. This is absolute insanity.
