We had some french people stay with us once, and they really wanted to try proper fish and chips, so we brought them here. They weren't disappointed - who could be with light, crispy battered haddock and fluffy golden chips on offer, with proper mushy peas and gravy that tastes like it's been made for a roast dinner? The fish is a very good size, tasty and succulent, the batter is light and perfect!
