Horrible experience!!! If you go to this place make sure you compare your EOB from your insurance…read moreto what they charge you!!! I've been dealing with this since 2022! The bills make no sense and it doesn't match what my insurance is saying I'm supposed to pay! Also, as much as I kept on asking for the bill with the explanation.... Nothing! They always say they are sending it and NOTHING!!! Since 2023!! I work very hard to earn my money to feel like I'm taking advantage of! Report to the insurance!! Share the word! They owe me close to $600 and just sent me a $25 check in the mail! It seems like they don't have core values or integrity! Which is sucks because they look like a good place! My question is, if their billing is so transparent then why I'm not getting an explanation in the mail or over the phone about it?! Very weird!

I've been going to Cheyenne Mountain Modern Dentistry for about 3 years now and have seen all of…read moretheir doctors and most of their hygienists. The staff are all generally kind and their doctors are knowledgeable. The quality of care seems pretty average and they are somewhat attentive... The struggles I have with them are: - Upselling. I have dental insurance, yet I am always out of pocket WAY more then I thought I would be going in. With little reason, I am just told 'this is what you need' without any WHY I need it. - I never get follow up calls or explanations from them - i.e. My EOB from my insurance states different billing codes and amounts then what I was charged and no one has followed up with me - it's been nearly three months. - The employees never seem to know answers to questions I ask - I.E. what type of work am I having done? How long is my appointment? When should my son be seen? etc etc. I am met with employees who don't know, have to 'get back to me' and just are not trained well AT ALL. My story lies here: During my pregnancy, I was told everything was great. After having my son, I am immediately met with "you should have been seen every 3 months" and was told it was MY FAULT. I got back into cleanings and a plan and even had a bridge completed (something I have been waiting 20 years to do.) Bridge was done with complications which I NEVER GOT A CALL BACK and when I called they said it was because the doctor was on vacation - they blamed my doctor! Talk about unsupportive staff. Now I am being told I need ANOTHER deep cleaning WITH genetic testing and it's more money. Red flags you guys! Do better. I have yet to get a call back to really explain to me WHY I've paid what I've paid and WHY I need more work done. I don't know if I'll go back to be honest.

Don't go here. I was…read morereferred by my dentist and had high hopes. I had braces when I was 16 and the whole experience was terrible for me. Because of the shape of my bite, any mouth movement & I'd stab my cheek in the wires. I was not willing to do braces or wires of any sort today. I voiced this over & over. Immediately upon talking to the assistant and doctor, I said I'd do anything possible to stay out of braces & that I wanted Invisalign. I'm 40. I had braces at 16 & had minimal movement in my teeth in 24 years and by other orthodontists opinions, I'm a good candidate for Invisalign. Upon examination she refused Invisalign for me. Claimed that they don't work. She wanted to put me in braces for over a year and then a permanent retainer. She invalidated my experience and said it wasn't as bad as I thought & that it won't be that bad now. I know my body and I know my experiences. It's pretty awful to be told that I don't know these things by a complete stranger. I didn't reject the braces in office. But I have a sensory processing disorder and the permanent retainer is a no go. I would yank it out with a pliers at home if it was given to me. I told her "I can't do the permanent retainer." Her posture changed. She was defensive. Then she talked about how her husband is ok with it so I should be too. Then I repeated, "I can't do it, it's a sensory thing." So she proceeded to tell me how all her adult patients are happy with it so I'll be fine. Then I stood my ground. "I will not be doing the wire." She clenched her jaw and was VISIBLY upset and angry. She tried to hold it over me that, "you're paying me to do a good job so this is what I want to do." I repeated that I WILL NOT be doing that & it's final. She then suggested a retainer, which fixes nothing. So she still refused Invisalign. At no point did we discuss my expectations or goals. It was only what SHE wanted for my teeth. I shouldn't have to announce a disability for my "no" to be respected. No means no in any and every context and setting. Listen lady, I don't know who you think you are but I'M paying YOU for services. You aren't paying me. You don't get to tell me what happens to my body. You don't get to tell me what I can and cannot handle. You don't get to tell me that my memories of experiences are wrong. I have to deal with your suggestions, so what I say is final. You could have had my business. I trusted my dentist and would have blindly walked into treatment with you at your office, which would have been a mistake judging by the other dissatisfied reviews I read. Thank goodness I triggered you and saw your true colors. I feel bad for the kids who are your clients.

My son, daughter and wife were treated here. Dr. Batterson was amazing with all three. They all…read morelove the quality of care and thought the staff was amazing and very helpful! I would defiantly recommend Dr. Batterson for your Orthodontic care!
