The bail amount is per year, so if the court…read moredelays your trial or defers judgment on your case or merges it with another case, or, as happened to me, simply decides to shut down one courthouse and move all the cases to another (as bev. hills did when it moved to the new airport courthouse), and because of any of those things your hearing is delayed past one year, these guys will make you buy another bond for the same price - and if you don't pay it they will get a court order, tack on a bunch of fees and take it from you. USE ANOTHER SERVICE AND READ THE FINE PRINT. (also, if you're bailing a friend out, they will come after both YOU and YOUR FRIEND for the bill if it goes beyond one year! - get judgments against both of you and F$$%K up your credit ratings.
