First of all I visited this swimming pool during the summer holidays during 20°C weather with light rain, so my review will be of that experience. It is a great alternative to Palm Beach in Stein, as that place is usually packed to the max! The selection of pools is amazing here. There is an exterior pool, interior fun pool, a children's play area, 4 warm mineral baths, 1 cold mineral bath and 1 exterior mineral bath. The price of 12€ for 4 hours is more than satisfactory for the amount of things you can do. Luckily during my visit it wasn't very packed. 2 steam baths are also available. I added an extra 1.50€ to enter the "solegrotte" which is a high salt/mineral water located underneath the "Therme" area. That water made a lot of spots on my body feel weird, yet cleansing. Fürthermare features 3 slides each color coded on intensity, green, yellow and red. After riding on all of them clearly there is a slide for every type of person. Adrenaline speed lovers should ride the red one! The food selection at Fürthermare is very nice for the fact that it is a pool and the prices aren't astronomical. I paid approx. 7€ for a large portion of Spaghetti bolognese and it filled me up completely! Drinks are pretty expensive though so I suggest taking your own bottled water. The pool water quality is good, as far as pool water can go. No excessive waste in the water (bandages, skin flakes, etc.). Changing rooms are very well designed and a lot of locker space available! The locale also offers a sauna which I did not participate in. All the pools have special features, from water jets to bubble massages and waterfalls. All in all the experience was great! I had a lot of fun at Fürthermare and I will gladly return again for a refreshing swim!

Mini golfing really isn't my world. Seriously, the lack of decent equipment and the amount of luck…read moreneeded just drives my golfer brain insane! However, mini golfing in the dark with fluorescent graffiti and 3d glasses is a whole different world. This place is best described as what I imagine alice in wonderland on acid looks like: vividly colourful walls with 3d figures painted onto them that really seem to lean towards you & courses that would make Salvador Dalí proud. The location is a big plus too, enough parking spaces and the best pulled pork & burgers in town next door? Nice! I'd probably take away one star for the lack of AC, but hey... those 3d murals are insane! P.s. Did you know mini golf is also known as "putt putt golf"? Who comes up with stuff like that...

Tried calling before hand to verify reservations and times, and no one answered. Needless to say, he was heart broken he couldn't play. The only positive is that the Christmas market was open and close by so we were able to mitigate his sadness. The staff does speak English, but the age restriction is, in my opinion, absolutely ridiculous.
