It's massive with intercity and international trains terminating here and transferring to underground, surface suburban and tram lines. Despite all of that traffic, we found it particularly easy to navigate with good signage and plenty of ticket vending machines as we transferred to the underground which did mean a short walk outside in the rain. Finding the toilet requires a treasure map. This is really quite a shame since Altona is a really nice part of the city and the specific area in which this station is situated is a lovely shopping district. They should really shape up this station and give it a makeover to fit the rest of the area
