I have only been to Bahama Breeze one other time and it was over 10 years ago. Was in town for a conference and this was the only place we could get reservations for a party of 10 after 8:30. We finished our meeting early and arrived about 30 minutes prior to our reservation time and they seated us promptly. Our server's name was Dawn. For the party size and different requests, she handled the table well. I ordered the tequila sunburn glazed salmon which came with cinnamon mashed sweet potatoes and green beans. I subbed the green beans for broccoli. The salmon was very good! I wish I could recreate it at home. The mashed sweet potatoes were decent but my broccoli could have been cooked for 5 more minutes. We enjoyed our food and had a good time.

The KeyLime Pie was STELLAR. The Pineapple & Coconut Slush drink (virgin) was DELICIOUS. Crab dip appetizer was very flavorful. Service was great, the gal just started working there and was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu items. Salad was less than favorable, but the crab dip, service and key lime pie saved the review.

It's more of a 3.5 but closer to 3. I have been wanting to try Bahama Breeze for awhile finally had the chance to go and it all sounds much better on paper then the execution of it. There was plenty of parking and we were able to get a table right away. At first they led us to the bar section but it was loud and the table they wanted to sit us at was dirty so they led us to a different part of the restuarant. They have live music on Friday nights which is a nice touch. Our server was super friendly and walked us through the menu and some popular choices. We ended up getting the tostone nachos, jeck chicken Alfredo, and the steak with chimichurri rice, beans, and plantain. The tostone nachos we a good size helping for an appetizer. I would have liked more of the toppings because there ended up being more tostones than topping so by the end it was just plain. The jerk chicken Alfredo was tasty I enjoyed the little bit of had of that. My steak was nothing to write about. It lacked flavor even with the chimchurri on top. The rice was on the bland side. Just wasn't what I was expecting. I tried the rum flight it came with 3 different of their rum cocktails. That was enjoyable. The vibes are cool just didn't do it for me.

They had a saxophonist playing on the weekend. The music was a vibe. The waitress was very nice. The drinks were good. The food was pretty amazingly good. I would return here again.

My little tropical island get away added Crab three cheese dip to their menu. I couldn't wait to try it. The crab dip was amazing and seasoned so well. I can't wait to go back! The service is always excellent, they never disappoint me ! I did bring my mom with me and she enjoyed her jerk shrimp pasta. Of course she took home leftovers because the plate was huge. I ordered the coconut shrimp with the yellow rice, that was my first time ordering it. The spicy mustard paired really well with the savoring coconut taste. The ultimate non alcoholic pineapple beverage was on point. I felt like I was at the beach with my toes in the sand. The noise level was fine, I was able to hear my moms and I conversation. If you can't get to the beach just yet, try Bahama Breeze!

There wasn't that many people here, maybe it's normal for this area but our bartender was very tentative. I did try the Dragon Fruit Margarita, which was pretty sweet for me. I am not much of a sweet drinker so I am not wanting to rate it fully based off of that because it could be their style. If you enjoy sweet drinks then I would give it a go. It was a calm ambiance.

Happy hour with a good friend, half price apps and drink specials. Overall then deal is good, I ordered crab and three cheese dip which was new to me, crispy conch fritters that weren't crispy, and firecracker shrimp. Jarvis is a cool server, he's attentive even when busy and customer service is his specialty and I appreciated it. He took the fritters off my ticket since they weren't prepared right. The food came out hot, but like the fritters the shrimp batter was super soft and fell off, I didn't complain. My Bahamas mamas were on point for $5. The table kiosk is also helpful for when the server is occupied.

Late review but I had a blast here!!! We came in on Sunday , Memorial Day weekend and was shocked to hear about the late night happy hour. We ordered almost every appetizer on the list but the jerk shrimp scampi app was the best one... so good we ordered 2 ! The rest were just okay. The cheese sticks with yuca were NOT hitting. The bang bang shrimp were okay. The jerk wings were DRY. Mia was our server and we loved her!!! We are a pretty silly family and she just laughed along with us and didn't give us any problem even after playing "Mia" the song for her. Kudos to Mia!!! Our coconut shrimp was burnt initially but the manager had a new one given to us. We also tried the lobster pasta , the paella and the pineapple dish! The pasta needed some salt , my mom enjoyed the paella and my pops loved his pineapple rice dish. The drinks were great!!! We had some frozen drink on HH and it was fyeeeee!!!

Went on a Tuesday around 6PM. Our waitress Amber was great! We only only Drinks and appetizers from happy hour. Our food came out fast but our drinks took a little minute but Amber assured us that they were on the way!

This was my first time to Bahama Breeze. My server was great. Hard working and covered a lot of tables. The happy hour prices were great. $5 drinks, 1/2 off appetizers. I was disappointed with the conch fritters. They were all batter. I did not taste any conch. The manager was nice and offered me another option and ended up giving them to me complimentary. I had the lobster and shrimp linguini for my main dish. It was a large serving. A good balance of protein to pasta. Definitely more shrimp than lobster. The Lobster was in small mini pieces. I would rate this 9 out of 10. For drinks specials I had the mojito Cubano and the ultimate piña colada. I would rate the mojito cubano. Both were good drinks. Mojito cubano definitely was less sweet and tasted like it had more alcohol. The happy hour prices were definitely a good deal and option to try different drinks.

BEST COCONUT SHRIMP EVER! The Conch Fritters were amazing. The sauce for them was ok but they themselves were fantastic and I loved them. I could tell the Bahamian Seafood Chowder was good but I didn't enjoy it much because it's just not my thing. The Coconut Shrimp was by far the best thing of the meal. The coconut and shrimp balanced perfectly together. They also tasted just fine without the sauce though the sauce wasn't bad either. When I returned with my family we got the Coconut Shrimp appetizer. It was great. the only difference between it and the main course was it came with a pineapple slice. I got the Grilled Chicken with Cilantro which was fantabulous!! The chicken had a honey glaze and tasted so good by itself. I didn't really like the corn or the cilantory sauce but that's ok because the chicken tasted good enough that those things didn't matter. The empanadas were surprisingly excellent and I'd love to get them again. The sauces that come with them were especially good and really made it an amazing dish. To Try: Appetizer: Firecracker Shrimp Loved: - Appetizer: Conch Fritters - Chicken: Buttermilk Chicken Jibaritos - Empanadas: Beef (loved the sauces) - Salad: House with Island vinaigrette - Shrimp: Coconut (amazing sauce) Liked: - Chicken: Grilled Chicken with Cilantro - Pasta: Jerk Chicken - Quesadilla: Lobster and Shrimp - Side: Black Beans - Side: Yellow Rice Ok: - Drink: Frozen Bahamarita Disliked: - Carnita Bowl (hubby thought ok) - Dressing: Balsamic Vinaigrette - Soup: Bahamian Seafood Chowder - Tacos: Carnitas - Tacos: Key West Fish - Wings: Jamaican

When we're traveling, we're not buying alcohol, or we brought our own, but something made the city told them:, no alcohol, or that they served to minors. That's a red flag, to me, because we don't know, what others they violated, if any! The staff were friendly. Our waitress allowed us to study the menu before deciding, since I don't really want to eat seafood with my hands, wearing church clothes. It was decided to buy whatever we feel like eating, without using tools to crack open, and have a picnic (hopefully with a table), in our suite. And have a quiet (not noisy like here) dinner to ourselves. (We did have a table for 2. Perfect!) We ordered, we told our waitress we're having our 51st Wed Anniversary this year. Crabcakes, Gumbo, Sweet Potato Fries, Corn on the cob, Fried Catfish Basket and Onion Rings. She remembered all that without writing! She did went back for condiments. With complimentary Chocolate Volcano cake for both of us. Thank you! The Gumbo, was perfect for our breakfast, enough for 4 servings. I had some with meals last night, we shared this morning, and enough for another meal. (We have a cooler). Everything else was delicious, perfectly seasoned, the catfish was packed in with the crabcake (which has shredded lettuce, slices of tomatoes), and it was still crispy! The Sweet Potato, packed by itself, was limpy, and so was the onion rings. We still ate them. We are just driving across the street, and we both agreed: Not crispy at all! I love the corn on the cob, and I love the Cajun seasoning, I thought I was having just buttered corn. This was a bonus, for me! And I usually don't like Cajun-style because in the past, they were always too spicy for me. But, Gumbo was my 1st choice for anything Cajun.

Coastal Fish Company is always a great spot for a romantic night out or a great dinner experience…read more For starters, we had the NOLA oysters, and they are probably my favorite oysters in Memphis. I love the sauce, and you can definitely tell the oysters are fresh. Next, we had the steak and mashed potatoes -- the steak was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The lobster bisque was my starter, and it was honestly one of the best I've had in a while. The only small disappointment was the dessert , pineapple upside down cake. It seemed a little overcooked because it had a slightly burnt taste at the bottom. Overall, the service is always 10/10, and I'd give the food a solid 9/10. Definitely one of my favorite places in Memphis for a quality dining experience. i'd like to come back again and watch the sunset from the patio.

Our server was barely attentive to our table. She went around checking on other tables near us, but hardly came to ours at all. The only time she really interacted with us was when she brought the check. No follow-up, no asking how the food was, no drink refills--nothing. It honestly felt like we were overlooked the entire time. To make things worse, she wasn't even the one who brought out our food. Someone else dropped it off, and after that we were basically on our own. For a restaurant at this price point, I expected much more attentive and professional service. The food didn't make up for it either. I ordered the Chilean sea bass, and it was very underwhelming. The fish lacked flavor, the potatoes were soggy, and overall it just wasn't enjoyable. Definitely not what you expect for the price. Overall, between the inattentive service and the disappointing food, the experience just didn't live up to the hype at all.
