If you are even remotely nervous about doing a boudoir shoot, book with Amber. I cannot say enough…read moreabout how wonderful, empowering, and affirming this experience was from start to finish. From the moment I booked, Amber created a space grounded in emotional safety, consent, and genuine care. After I made my deposit, she sent thoughtful guidance on how to prepare, from shopping tips to mindset support, which helped calm my nerves and made me feel supported long before the session itself. On the day of the shoot, her makeup artist did an incredible job with hair, makeup, and lashes, making me feel confident and radiant without feeling overdone. While I was getting styled, Amber went through my outfits with me and helped select the ones that would photograph best, which was invaluable. Once the shoot began, she coached me through every pose with patience and encouragement, checked in often, and ensured I always felt respected and in control. As a bigger bodied woman in my 50s, I felt completely seen and celebrated. Her use of lighting is immaculate. She doesn't just take photos, she creates art. The images are elegant, powerful, and deeply affirming. I fully trusted her vision and care, and she delivered beyond my expectations. The turnaround time was surprisingly fast, and when I saw the final gallery, I had literal tears of joy. I have never seen myself this way before. I would absolutely recommend Amber to first timers, anyone feeling nervous, and anyone looking to reclaim their self confidence and reconnect with their divine feminine. 10/10 would recommend.

They do outdoor and indoor photo shoots, and also have a studio set up at their office. This review is for Lin, the makeup artist at Fashion Taipei Studio. She is extremely sweet and has been doing makeup for almost 20 years! She is willing to work with you and can travel if you need her to. She is also affordable! I am Asian and Lin has worked with a ton of Asian women (our features are not the easiest to work with)-- she knows how to do more natural makeup, which is the look I want to go with. She works with another woman for events who does hair. They also have a third person who works part-time on their team that assists with hair and makeup as well. I have not met the other ladies on the team, but Lin seemed to really know what she was doing. She is a woman of many talents-- she also makes cakes as a side business. They offer different types of photography packages according to what you may need-- albums, frames, hair+makeup+photo packages, outfits, etc. I am looking forward to working with her on my upcoming wedding. She and her team will be doing hair and makeup for my bridesmaids. I will update my review after services have been rendered with more feedback!
