However, when we asked for a copy of our quote, we are not privy to such information as it must go through the contractor. All I can say now is that If we decide not to use this contractor, we will not be using this company. As a homeowner, I have the right to know how much I am paying and the mark up from the contractor. Rather upset but will wait and see what happens. Update: We decided to not go with the contractor who referred us. We were to have Engrained release the quote to us. He was initially agreeable and then said it would step on the toes of his good client. How is doing business with a private consumer who was referred to a business ethically wrong? Engrained in Cottonwood offered great products but refused to do business with us.

They were conscientious and comfortable to have in our home. They encountered a significant unexpected issue they could have ignored, but they chose to do the right thing even though it delayed the install. Our insurance company confirmed it was a valid issue. This was our second time dealing with Greenlee and we were very happy both times.

The undermount sink on one was off center with the vanity, the drain, the mirror and the light fixture and I was told that because the old top had been demo-ed before the measurement was done they didn't realize that the sink should have been centered with the vanity, the plumbing, the mirror and the light. ( By the way, they suggested I do the demo in advance.) There was no mention during the process that this would occur and I was not consulted about the sink position. The solution offered was a discount on a new vanity top and the installation. The company took no responsibility for the error. So i am left to either pay more or live with their error and the additional plumbing expense. Is Precision Marble a risk worth taking?

On the day of the appointment, the team simply never showed up. No phone call, no explanation, no follow‑up. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Xact Countertop Company.
