Just as good as we remember it! My husband and I were in the Columbia area and decided to stop by one of old favorites. Food and service was just as amazing as the first time we visited so many years ago. I ordered the lemon sage drop, which was super good, and my husband got tried one of the local beers, which he also enjoyed. I ended up ordering the fried chicken with mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese. Husband ordered the the prime rib dip sandwich with a homemade soup. I'm giving 5 stars because the dessert (which is my favorite part of eating) was the best part of my evening and our server was the sweetest. This is my first time actually being in the restaurant, I normally just DoorDash, but inside definitely gives nice restaurant/bar vibes. It's really cute in there especially with all the gamecocks decor. I usually get cauliflower pizza but one of the specials was blackened salmon with Bleu cheese cream sauce and pasta (but I subbed the pasta for green beans because carbs lol). I also got the Caesar salad and it was so fresh. The cheese and Caesar dressing added a perfect saltiness to the salad. When I first got the salmon, the sauce was very watery and they put the green beans at the bottom which did not taste well. So our server got me green beans in a separate bowl and cream sauce separate so I could portion it out myself. It tasted so much better and my salmon was cooked perfectly (I like mine cooked medium). My mom got the meatloaf which she said was okay, it was just cooked a bit tough and my dad had the crab cake sandwich which he said was okay as well. They both mentioned their food was a bit salty but flavorful. The green beans to me were a bit sweet and sour and tasted like they put too much vinegar in it. Overall I'd give my food a 6/10. Next time lll stick to my cauliflower pizza. My daughter had cheese pizza and she ate half of it. She said it was really good. It was cheesy, crust was crunchy. My mom even tried it and said it had great flavor. The star of the show was the brownie with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. They heated the brownie and it was so fluffy and soft on the inside and so warm, it melted in your mouth. It paired so well with the ice cream. That was the perfect way to end dinner. I'll definitely order from here again but I'll stick to DoorDash. They are on Devine and if you don't get there at a good time, their lot is packed. Try their pizza if you haven't already. read more

I wanted something light to I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries. The food was okay, I wish their chicken fillet was juicier. The service was good! We were sitting at a table outside when he came up to ask and asked us to switch tables because he had a reservation for our table we were sitting at. The restaurant does not take reservations (first lie) . Once we moved-he did not bring us menus or silverware so we just went back to our original table. We were served. Mathew S. 3 hours later came back and once again proceed to tell us he was just doing business. You should never ask people who are enjoy they time to move and not follow through. Love this place. Food is always reliably good. Service is always good. The only knock I have is sometimes it takes them a while to get food out. This past visit we waited over 45 minutes for a burger and crab cake. The interior seating spaces can get a little loud as the voices just seem to carry in the restaurant. Excellent dinner. Wife had the ribeye which was perfectly cooked medium rare and seasoned well. I had the Cuban with onion rings. Thin sliced and very good. The wife got the Caesar salad which was delicious (fresh lettuce, nice amount of shredded Parmesan and the croutons were nice and crispy and not rock hard. The dressing was good but lacked the anchovie flavor which we have come to expect with a good Caesar. Still delicious though, just more of an Italian dressing. Wife ate every bit! The appetizer was the mussels with garlic white wine sauce which were good. Service by Chandler was excellent and on point. She made good suggestions for the menu and drinks, and checked regularly if she thought we might need anything. Great ambiance and they seated us too close to the bar side but quickly agreed to move us as it was too loud (boisterous?). Found this place for lunch online and it had pretty good reviews. We were seated quickly. The server came to take our drink orders after about a minute. I had the reuben with pasta salad while my husband had a burger with sweet potato fries. Our son had a chicken sandwich with the truffle fries. The food came out hot and was pretty tasty. Where do I start? I started with an espresso martini that was one of the best I have ever had. Dinner salad was next with the house dressing that was very tasty. Veggies were fresh and beautifully displayed. Then on to the bison burger that was cooked to perfection, accompanied by the truffle parmesan fries. They have a pretty impressive drink selection. If you're a craft beer fan, you will be pleased. I went with a Blackberry Cider and Hubby got an IPA. My drink was amazing. I had never seen a hard cider that wasn't apple! For lunch I got the lump crab cake sandwich, and my husband got the ribs. Wow. The food was amazing. My husband's rib bones were sliding out of the meat. The sauce was really good too. He got Truffle Parmesan fries as his side and they were the star of the show. My sandwich was perfect.
