Level of service extremely impressive- knowledgeable and have patience to listen to their patients

Update- I have been going regularly for several months now and Backbone has changed my life in such a positive way. I sleep better, and overall just feel better 24/7 after starting my Chiropractic treatments. The ladies who run the front operations are amazing. I have never had any issues with scheduling even though I work crazy unpredictable hours, and they are always very kind and accommodating. Occasionally there is a wait, however I think it shows that they have a full schedule because they are great at what they do. Dr. Tracie Schwab is a doctor who really puts her heart into her work, I leave each appointment feeling like she truly cares about my well-being. They also have the BEST massage therapists in the world on staff, Allyson (Ally) is my top choice, but they are all amazing and extremely skilled. 100 stars! read more

This is a superb place to get your back cracked. I LOVE Dr. Clinton and the staff is made up of sweet and fun girls. They are always laughing and having a good time at work, but are not annoying. The massage therapists here are very good and will really work out the knots. The facility is clean and Dr. Clinton knows what she is doing. She is both gentle and effective. She also has a lot of the coolest tools for knocking on your spine. A new facility is on the way, which is great since parking can sometimes be an issue. I have been looking for a good chiropractor and I finally found her! And she's close! I've been a few times and have found that Dr. Tracie Schwab is caring, thorough, helpful and uses multiple modalities to address issues. Plus they have an in-house massage therapist who has worked with me after my chiropractic visits on the spot. The office administrators are super professional and organized, and they were able to fit me in for a day-of appointment when I tweaked my neck. The technology all seems new, nice, clean. The owners of the practice are the doctors, which I think brings a whole host of good things to a practice. No more walk-in visits at a chain, I've found my spot! Dr. Hays has been a life saver. After 2 weeks my lower back issues have practically gone away. I love Backbone!! I have been seeing Dr. Schwab because of some back pain...being at a computer all day really messes with my back! A chiropractor (at a different place, NOT Backbone) messed up my back after an adjustment and so I went to see Dr. Schwab and she completely fixed me up. I had seriously bad back pain before that. I have been coming here for almost two years to see Dr. Schwab. I had never seen a chiropractor before, but I was desperate to end my migraines. I saw her about once a week for six months, and I went from having a horrible migraine 1-2 times a month, to almost two full years with no headaches. After having an appointment rescheduled 3 times and taking the time to go out of my way to go their office. They did not have me in their system. From the last I spoke with the receptionist it was scheduled. I wish I had not wasted my time. Having four kids and getting a sitter was hard enough. This is my first chiropractor experience and I love it. Dr. Schwab is very professional and friendly. She listens to what is going on and gets to work right away. I love her emphasis on not just loosening the muscles but getting your body balanced. I personally have scoliosis so I have trouble with one side of my back working harder than the other side. They are really good at squeezing me in whenever I need an appointment and also being very flexible. The receptionist ladies are very friendly and welcoming. The whole office has a calming feel to it. Definitely would recommend it to anybody who needs some spine work. read more

Do not trust what the receptionist tells you about what you owe! They do NOT check your insurance first before treatment. Not all treatments performed are covered and they itemize EACH one!! Dr. Amman does NOT notify you of this and never asks permission for each itemized treatment he performs. So you leave there thinking you are all paid up and insurance was all good, and BAM, 4 months later you are being charged $100's. VERY unethical... Other establishments check and you must give consent. Not cool Dr. Amman, YOU and your receptionists should have to pay my bill!!! read more

I have been looking for a chiropractor around me for a very long time because I have been having a pretty bad neck pain that my physician was only able to prescribe muscle relaxer which helped for like a day! I had never had an adjustment, so i was a little nervous. My practitioner, Chris was extremely knowledgeable and patient. He answered every question I had. After his adjustment, may I say wow! And Chris isn't the only one who has talent! I have had massages from Katherine and Zach. They are amazing! I also had acupuncture with Dr. Chen, he is sooooo amazing! With everyone's help here, my neck has been pain free for a week! I'm sure I need more treatment to completely cure my neck, but I know I am in great hands! My experiences with backbone have been so great! I brought my husband in! He has a lower back pain for years and no one has been able to help him other than steroid shots.. and that is temporary! Dr. Clinton and her staff are awesome! I've been going in for chiropractic adjustments and massages since January. They're always so friendly and accommodating when I have to bring my baby along--there's always someone eager to lend their arms so Dr. C can adjust me without him getting upset. Dr. Clinton has bent over backwards (so to speak...) to figure out what is causing my back pain. She is always willing to listen when I fumble my way through describing what I'm feeling so that she has a good idea of what we're dealing with. I absolutely love Dr. Schwab and the staff at Backbone. Their front office staff is friendly and competent and Dr. Schwab is so caring and sweet. I've never seen Dr. Clinton but she recognizes my son and I in the waiting room and says hi to us. Dr. Schwab has been great with my two year old son who is quite hesitant. He's never cried at an appointment with her and actually asks to get adjusted if I take him with me to my appointments, now. Dr Clinton and her staff are amazing. I have been seeing her for almost 10 years. Based on previous experience I thought chiropractic was a bunch of quacks. Not the case with Backbone. Dr Clinton is very caring and knowledgeable about the human body. She hires only the best massage therapists. I started seeing Dr Kristy Clinton 8 years ago! I had severe low back pains and had tried shots and physical therapy but they were only temporary fixes. A friend recommended Dr Clinton and between adjustments and acupuncture I was finally able to get relief. I spend about 8 hrs a day sitting at a desk typing. Regular adjustments to my back and neck keep me pain free and able to work in comfort. . The staff is great and they offer many other services as well.to keep you balanced and in good health. I originally went to Dr. Clinton for an adjustment. My previous chiropractor was out of my network and a very long drive. Dr. Clinton was wonderful. During my first visit, we talked some about my overall health and I told her I wanted to lose weight and just get a better idea of what I should be eating on a daily basis. Let's face it, there is a LOT of information out there and it can get a little overwhelming. I sat with Dr. Clinton for about 30 minutes one day to specifically talk about my health goals. The next week I received a tailored plan for me for the next 30 days along with a personal cheerleader in Adrianna. I'm on day 24. I'm down almost 10 pounds and have lost a total of 4 1/2 inches-WITHOUT adding exercise to my daily plan. That is next on the list, but I'm so glad I just concentrated on the nutrition side of things first. At the end of 30 days, when I feel like I've made some permanent changes to my lifestyle, I'll add exercise back into my routine. I have never felt so comfortable at a doctors office. From the moment I walked for the first time I knew this was a good place. Today (1-20-12) I showed up at there door step in immense pain. Everyone in the office was so kind and patient with me. Even though I could of easily over stayed my welcome taking up a table not being able to move. Instead of going to various western medicine Dr.'s, do yourself a favor and experience Dr. Kristy Clinton and all that her wellness center has to offer first. In sharing my experience, my hope is to help someone else acquire knowledgable, experienced, and thorough body healing that can be trusted. I had my first visit with Dr. Clinton today, and my experience was outstanding. My first impression of her was that she knew exactly what she was talking about. Together we went over my thermal scans and my x-rays and we talked about relevant details regarding my treatment. Additionally, she was very friendly, and she explained the problems with my back in a way that I could fully understand. When I was getting adjusted, she knew which parts of my back were hurting just by putting her hand on a certain area, and then she would explain what she was about to do to fix it (before she did it). She made me feel completely comfortable (and how important is that, when you're about to get your back cracked!?). The two assistants I interacted with were also friendly and knowledgeable. I've been working with Backbone for 12 years. Dr. Clinton has seen my husband and several other family members. She helped my husband and I through sciatic injuries w/o tons of medication and surgeries. She has been adjusting my daughter since she was an infant. She is now 6 years old and an athletic gymnast and still goes for maintenance. The doctors here are educated and know what steps to take to provide overall wellness.
