Each time that I went for an appointment, I was made to watch a generic video about the benefits of chiropractic care and why it is important. I was also urged to bring my husband in to make the explanation of my care plan easier but I felt that it was so that they could try to "win over" another patient. I've gone to chiropractors before and I don't understand why some of them feel like they need to give to a slimy sales pitch to get you to come. To add insult to the slimy sales pitch, I was told after they took xrays and gave me a consultation that they do not take my health insurance so I was smacked with a crazy bill. My health insurance said there is no in network or out of network chiropractors, so I didn't think to check about if other medical procedures would be covered. I know the responsibility falls on me, but the staff could have also check when I made my appointment or when I arrived knowing that the consultation would incur high costs just from a customer service standpoint. During my second appointment, the doctor actually steps out and a billing person comes in to try to get me to sign a contract for my plan of care to the tune of over $1600. She says I can pay for it all at once, in two payments, or broken down into 5 payments... anyway you slice it, they want to make sure you will keep coming back because you pay upfront. I want to feel better, that's why I went to a chiropractor in the first place. But I left here feeling like all they did was try to sell me on the benefits of chiropractic care without offering me any relief for my pain.

I was suffering from upper back problems after a bad car accident about a year prior. I was living off of prescription narcotics which barely worked, and I hated it. It felt like my upper spine was going to give out at any time. I was at first reluctant to see a chiropractor since it's alternative medicine, but my sister highly recommended this place. After about 2 sessions, my pain was going away quickly. Soon after, I was completely pain free! It felt like a miracle to no longer need meds. I come in occasionally a few months at a time for some follow ups. He always teaches me stretches that are easy to do and really help.
