I've done the salt float tank session four times at Aqua Float & Cryo. I will be calling it the…read more"salt pod." Each time, I've had a positive experience and have come out feeling more relaxed. I purchased the Groupon for three float sessions. I recently purchased it again, and the staff didn't really like that I did that but honored it anyways. They have membership options if you're looking for ways to save money. There's a picture that was current as of late Nov 2019 of membership options attached. Be sure to book an appointment in advance. When you get there, they check you in. The staff member asks if you need to use the restroom. Yes. Yes, you do. You do not want to in a salt pod for an hour needing to pee (rookie mistake). You get a private room with a shower, a salt pod, a bathrobe, two towels, earplugs, soap, shampoo, and conditioner. You're instructed to take a shower before getting into the salt pod. You have the option of wearing a swimsuit or not. It's a private, locking room. So, up to you. I would recommend using the earplugs. There are buttons inside the salt pod for music and light, to the right of your head. Just be sure not to press the attendant call button, which is there also. You can also leave the door on your pod if you don't like confined spaces. The pod doesn't lock and you can open the door any time. Pro tip: if you're wondering what water loaded with tons of salt tastes like, don't let curiosity get the best of you. It tastes very, very bad. If you're a reasonable adult human, there's no reason this will become in issue for you. After your time is done, the water in the pod starts gently flowing. You can then take a thorough shower and go to the front to check out. Overall, I enjoy it and it makes my back feel great.

I know from personal experience that most doctors do NOT have Friday afternoon hours, especially to see a NEW patient. But we were desperate !! He was lightheaded from the pain and I was trying to coordinate treatment from 250 miles away !!! The receptionist was amazing!! She got my son RIGHT in to see the new, female practitioner. Although she explained that it might be a challenge to have this covered by my insurance ( complications because the new doctor was still getting registered with all the insurance companies!!), they worked it ALL out immediately. My son looks like a typical college kid, is quiet and was HURTING, yet he was embraced, HEARD, empowered and treated by the professional, caring staff at Coastal Chiropractic without hesitation !!! I have been referred to this practice after a car accident by my lawyer. After being at other…read moreChiropractic practices, unfortunately this one is very average. The practice is worn and tired looking with worn surfaces on benches and furniture. The front desk staff are moody and it depends on the day how you are received. If late, you will get scolded like a child but it is ok for them to leave you waiting. The Tens and Heat Therapy area is communal which I do not like. The staff do not warn you when approaching you to remove pads. Instead just remove the heat pads and ripe of the tens pad. I work as a provider in healthcare and you always tell a patient what you are about to do before proceeding. I go here because I am obliged for legal reasons but would not otherwise.
