I stayed in Riomaggiore for the weekend (2 nights) and managed to stop by 4 times... and even though that might sound like a gross amount of times I enjoyed every single bite each time and definitely could've stayed for more! One of my favorite flavors ever is pistachio when it's made correctly so I was dying to try it out! The first sample I had made me fall in love. The gelato tasted exactly like perfectly roasted pistachios in a creamy form. It tasted so real and fresh and at that moment I knew how much I loved Italy. Here's a short list of all of the flavors I tried (again, I'm not ashamed!) We had some Amarena Cherry, Chocolate-Mint, Mango and also chestnut flavoured gelato. All four of them were very tasty. Amarena and chocolate-mint are always great, but chestnut isn't that easy to find, so you definitely should try that. The Gelato here is fair priced, the texture perfect. Nice, smooth, creamy. Real quality ice cream. And it shows: it is quite popular and depending on the day there might be a line. Surely we'll be back next year for some more.
