It's become a tradition that we order a cheese and charcuterie board the night before we head home. They out did themselves this time. It was not only beautiful but everything included was delicious. Highly recommend!

What a cute little wine shop with a deli to boot. We needed a break from the beach and touristy stuff. This shop is around the corner from the food lion in Corolla. Its great! We had wine flight and meat and cheese tray. The owners are super nice they know alot about the wine and cheese. They also have the best balsamic vinegar that you can buy- we went $$$$$ crazy in here but it was super enjoyable!

This place is a perfect beach stop. Huge selection of wines, handmade and custom charcuterie boards, and a cute little outside patio to enjoy your wine and charcuterie. Service was great!

Came here with some friends when I was in the OBX for Thanksgiving with them (shout out to having friends with a beach house!!) The woman who was working (I believe, also the owner) was absolutely lovely. She was super sweet and made each sandwich fresh and by hand. Additionally, she had no difficulties obliging with "kid requests". The ability to order a glass of wine by the glass to accompany your sandwich is always awesome. Bacchus also had some interesting beers, including many local ones. So why 4 stars? I honestly found the prices a little high. However, this isn't surprising for a resort type area.

    The wine cave! Awesome!

When it comes to sandwich shops, Bacchus is definitely near the top of my list! I came here for lunch after some morning adventures in historic Corolla. This is a unique shop in that it not only has incredible sandwiches, but also various cheeses, wines, and beers from around the world. We had a great time exploring the wine cave, which is categorized by region as well as type of wine. Bacchus has some varieties of wine and beer I've never seen before, making it a great place to browse even if you're not necessarily looking to buy. Chances are you'll find something you want! The employees were wonderful and were more than happy to share lunch recommendations. I had the house made chicken salad on a pretzel bun, which was phenomenal. The fixings on the sandwich, such as lettuce and tomato, were also incredibly fresh and crisp. One of their most popular sandwiches is called the Currituck Club, which is a club sandwich with a small amount of apple butter on it. I thought this was very innovative, as I've never seen apple butter on a savory sandwich before. My sister ordered this sandwich and gave me a taste - let's just say that if I ever make it back to Bacchus, that's definitely the sandwich I will be ordering! Wow! My entire group agreed that these sandwiches were a cut above the rest. Ingredients and execution were both wonderful. I highly recommend a visit to Bacchus for lunch if you're vacationing in the Outer Banks!

So ya know, there is seating inside and some out.

Wish they had weekend hours but make it a point to come here for sandwiches and wine stock each trip to OBX.

As you walk in you note the feel of it being a converted diner made to look like a country place. You grab your own menu, seat yourself, and walk up to the bar/register when ready to order. If the first time, you need a minute to get your bearings. Food ordered (3% fee is not using the cash "discount" FYI, pretty common around here and absurd given these OBX prices). Drinks are self serve. Some coke products and excellent tea. This was the end of breakfast around 10:30/11, so it was empty. Service was pretty quick. (they bring it to the table). I thought the breakfast pricing was fair. Shrimp and grits for $12, etc. Especially for the portion sizes. Two things I didn't care for. -The ceilling tiles were crazy dirty and stained and the flor light bulbs were uncovered. -The shrimp and grits needs a re-do. It's huge, with a base of grits, ladels of bacon gravy, and about 5 shrimp and cheddar cheese. It's more like a shrimp, grits, gravy, cheese casserole. I would have much rather had a base of grits, the gravy scooped in the middle with shrimp stuck in it, and topped with cheese. Even with all that you'd think there would be flavor. It was kind of bland minus the occasionally greasy/burnt bacon piece. Also, the shrimp were flavorful but over-cooked and tail on, which is traditional--but in the casserole were a pain in the butt to get the tail off/cut. I know they can do good flavors and plates. My spouse's chicken biscut...omg the hand-breaded chicken was fantastic! My son's baked apples were to die for. You Philly visitors will be happy to see scrapples on the menu - yuck. All in, I would repeat and stick to chicken and the chicken coop.
