        Gyros mit Tradition. "Das Talent zum Gyros schneiden wird bei den Fournaris vererbt wie die braunen Augen", sagte einmal ein Gast über die Gastronomie-Tradition der Familie Fournaris. Tatsächlich kann heute auf eine 43-jährige Familientradition zurückgeblickt werden. Ioannis Fournaris eröffnete das Bacchus I schon 1973 in Arnum - damit ist es das älteste griechische, familiengeführte Restaurant in Deutschland. Uralte Rezepturen der traditionellen griechischen Küche werden seitdem vom Vater zum Sohn weitergebenden und fortlaufend verbessert. Die vielen Stammgäste schätzen die hochwertigen mediterranen Speisen und das familiäre Ambiente. This impression is taken on the inside, it is modern, straightforward, rather elegant and comfortable. The waitresses are brisk, have a good sense of humor and enjoy their job. Even if you often forget part of the order, but the point deduction, you do not lose your sense of humor. The food is actually of high quality in taste and how it is presented. There are no typical dishes like many other Greek restaurants. It started with the greeting from the kitchen, a well-arranged composition of artichokes. As a starter, I had a Zaziki, which convinced of the consistency and taste. There was also a very delicious, rustic bread. As a main course, I had a Pii plate. Baked gyros with two types of cheese, anything but dry. There were also french fries and a carrot zucchini vegetable that still had a bite. So the food completely convinced me. All in all the high quality impression is confirmed and the price - performance ratio fits in my opinion.
