In the evenings, it may happen, that there no more Kebap is available. This happens, if the spit from the morning is used up. When I told the young man that some in my party had never had a Doener, it must have been a challenge :). Look at this! The meat was juicy, and lasted all lthe way to end of my Doener. Yes, I ate this whole thing! The vegetables were fresh, and the sauce excellent. I mention that the meat lasted all the way through my sandwich because in the States, the meat is literally on top and the rest is veggies. When I go here the next time, I am showing them what a Doener SHOULD look like. It was still hot in Frankfurt when I visited a few weeks ago, so we sat outside to catch the breeze.
