Three months ago, I left a review regarding not being reached after my stopping in, bringing in my…read morescript for PT etc. I would like to inform that I had to switch and recall the efforts that Kenner Orthopedic made to make things right with me as a potential patient of theirs. Their efforts were commendable so much so that once I finished my first round of PT, I decided to give them a chance and after 3 weeks they have completely restored my trust in their professionalism, courtesy compassion and expertise. It is a large facility but the therapist and support team are attentive and considerate. The receptionist Madelyn is so very kind and pleasant, Craig is very courteous, observant, and professional. And Henry the PT working with me, is knowledgeable, kind, hardworking and is great to work with. Stacy, Ramiro, Tiffany, and Camelia are all kind and pleasant. These are the ones who have worked with me. The facility may be very large but they truly give great care to all patients. I thought it only fair to share this good report given I shared apparently a one off occurrence. I wish Kenner Orthopedic all the best and if you are looking for a PT facility with good customer service and patient care give them a try.

The staff was extremely knowledgeable and the equipment was in excellent condition. They took their time explaining the different exercises and machinery, and ramped up the level of difficulty at the appropriate intervals. The home exercises that they showed me helped a lot and they always answered my questions with an intelligent and well-explained response. If you live in the vicinity and need some rehabilitation from an injury or recent surgery, I recommend giving this place a shot.

Morning folks.. So, first of all, let me tell you that my…read moreexpectations of a Physical Therapist , are extremely high. Back when I lived in Boston, I worked for the Physical Therapy and Sports Physical Therapy offices of Mass General. The latter handled all the Sports Physical Therapy for the Red Sox, as well as Bruins, as well as extremely high profile clientele. So the care there was stellar, top notch and second to none. Superior Rehab, is a THAT level of care and service. My Physical Therapist , Billy Beaudreau, was such a quintessential professional. He was ON TIME, which is unheard of in the 504, am I right? He had me do so many tests which showed him where I was actually hurt, not simply where I was hurting. Did you know that they are not always the same thing? All I can say is that I left, actually feeling better. A LOT better. Man, I could go on and on about Billy Beaudreau and his entire staff of Physical Therapy professionals who go out of their way to not only treat you, but treat you well. If you need a Physical Therapist , go see Billy.. Tell him "Da Big Easy Daddy" sent you..

I've had a good experience overall at the Metairie clinic. The physical therapists Alexa, Hilary,…read moreand David are all very kind, professional, and knowledgeable. They really take the time to listen and make patients feel comfortable throughout the recovery process. The techs are also super nice, helpful, and caring, which makes a big difference when you're coming in regularly for treatment. The only downside is that the equipment is definitely showing its age, and the upholstery on of the massage tables has seen better days. I think the owners could really improve the experience by investing in updated equipment and furnishings. That being said, the great staff makes up for the older machinery, and their level of care is the reason I continue coming back.

I see a lot of folks complaining about pain meds, or tests, and charges like FIT wasn't completely…read morehonest about the fact that you had to pay out of pocket in the first place. I had problems that I KNEW from my own years of research that were hypermobility related from my teenage years after a fibromyalgia diagnosis at like 19/20 years old. I found the fascia institute on my own and knew I wouldn't be able to afford the initial protocol beforehand - flash forward a few years later - I am getting an actual referral from my neurologist after getting recommendations from my primary care doctor, my dermatologist, my physical therapists, from my allergist/ENT, and other specialists that I had been seeing through Medicaid of all things. I knew this was the place I needed to be. Yeah, they don't take Medicaid (yet, maybe?) but they will superbill you for reimbursement. I was able to crowdfund/ask my friends and fellow musicians for help because they also knew something was wrong and literally dozens of other specialists were writing me off and telling me that my nearly 20 year old childhood fibromyalgia diagnosis (from a top Rush teaching hospital in Chicago none the less) was the cause for my issues rather than doing the work ups that FIT did. I already knew I had the MTHFR mutation, I already knew I had other genetic issues. So I KNEW that I was going to a clinic that could make more sense of wtf was going on instead of being told that my previous diagnosis was a be-all, end-all. Shame on y'all for saying they're a scam and keeping people from asking for help. If you are dealing with a complex situation that has been written off for years - do it. And ask them for the records because I have had no problem so far getting diagnosis codes and files when I need them. Maybe some of y'all need to be advocating for yourself with other specialists or learning about why you are coming here in the first place - there are other options out there if you don't feel like this is worth your bag. This isn't a pill mill or a pain clinic. Believe me, I've been to countless doctors and specialists and been poked and prodded and cried myself to sleep before this - for my Medicaid covered doctors to be referring me to the Fascia Institute and Dr. Courseault was not taken lightly. Those specialists kind of knew already that I would have to pay out of pocket but STILL referred me anyway. Multiple specialists - like I said. (Also: I didn't get a single injection and they even asked me what I could afford to pay for the supplements that I VERY MUCH genetically need before helping me figure out why to start with and how to shop around) Moral of the story - the medical field will ALWAYS be a "practice" and it's up to YOU to come at it with your whole chest if you feel like someone isn't listening or has done you wrong. That's the only way you will get "better" and people will be held accountable - Even yourself. Attached is just one of the segments of official diagnoses that I have even trying to prove for nearly 20 years a being told I was just a woman with anxiety.

Neither he or anyone in his office knows more about EDS than anything you could just read online. It's a very cookie cutter experience. He's just banking on the the fact that there are no other EDS clinics and no competition to contradict his practices uselessness. He doesn't want to spend more than five minutes of his time with you. Just wants to inject needles into you and expect $500 cash in return. Even if he has an appointment with you just to talk to you for a few minutes and do nothing $500! However, the office manager is ridiculous. I needed a letter for a handicap admission to Museum elevators, etc., and while he was still at Tulane, his staff whipped it up free, no problem, but the second he got his own staff and practice the people running it, nickel and dime for everything and are very unprofessional. When I asked to update the letter this time I was charged $100 for a letter when any other doctor would have just filled out a form for free. They still did it incorrectly, it took weeks for them to get around to it, they did not fill out the form, and would not give me my money back. Plus, no apology for their incompetence. I went to my Primary Care and within five minutes she filled out the form for me and apologized that any doctor's office would be so monetized and unprofessional. There are other EDS doctors and other doctors that offer prolotherapy in New Orleans FIT will lie to your face and tell you that they are the only ones. They are not. It seems like they only care about getting a reputation like Instagram influencers to be famous and make money to work on athletes without compassion for everyday people.
