I was sitting in my hotel room dreading my fast food choices when Babas popped up in my maps. I had to look up what Shawarma was! It is terrific. Fresh, tasty and loaded with vegetables. I am so delighted! The service was fast and friendly also.

I brought my church group here for lunch. We've not been here before, so I checked them out online, and found it was like a small fast-food restaurant, where you order from the wall menu: Kabobs, Pita, Bowl. Then you pick the sauces and veggies. My group were used to sitting in restaurant, where the menu come to your table, and so are the food. We were seated right away, (I made reservation earlier) and we lined up to order. I thought, the portions were just right, I still have enough for another meal. My sauce was on the side (with a dipping sauce container), just in case I want less or more on top of my food. I'm glad I did that. I didn't need my sauce a all. All of us ordered the bowl, except two, they had the Pita version. I asked my group, how they like their lunch. They all said, it was good! One asked for spicy hot, it wasn't. One wanted less Feta cheese, of course, it was too salty. I asked them: if they would come back. 'Probably not' was their response. As for me & my husband: we like Mediterranean, and we will come back. Staff were friendly and service was great! Restroom could have been a little bit cleaner.

While visiting my daughter, we went shopping at this outdoor mall and, midway through our day, we got hungry. My kid saw the sign for Baba's across the parking lot and said this is a terrific Mediterranean place where you can custom-make your own bowls. I liked the sound of that, so we trudged over there for lunch. There was only one guy working behind the counter, but the restaurant was fairly empty, so we didn't have to wait at all. And this guy was SO nice, and so patient, explaining how it all works (i.e., once you choose the size of bowl you want, what sauces and veggies and meats you can put in there. The variations are practically endless). My kid chose a chicken-based bowl and, me, a lamb shawarma, and we shared both (with a TON left over! Portions are big here!). The hummus at the bottom of each bowl was amazing, the meats were delicious and well-seasoned, the veggies were all fresh, and the sauces we chose were wonderful (one of the sauces I had was a garlic-y creamy white sauce. Man, was it good!). My kid and I had a lot of left-overs to take home (and we each opted for the "small" bowl. It's a lot of food!). The restaurant interior was super clean and cute, if not a little sterile. I wish I had gotten the employee's name. He really was super nice and very helpful. This was a terrific semi-fast food place, with hearty portions and fresh, tasty food. Wish I lived closer; I'd be a regular here!

This little tree is in Cascades, Station, Weir, The, Portland, Airport Nice, bright and clean restaurant. You go inside and choose the way you want to have your lunch. Do you want a bowl, a pita, or a kebab. Then you chose your sides that you wanted on it. All fresh and delicious. I had the baba ghanoush and the Mediterranean salad. It was super tasty and filling The employees are very helpful and are willing to build your Peter the way you want it and tell you about what the ingredients are as well. I will definitely try this again. Next time I'm shopping.

I used to love this place because the bowls were delicious with fresh ingredients and fairly priced. I'm not sure what happened recently but it seems like the quality went downhill. I got the lamb and beef shawarma bowl, but most of the meat was inedible because it was too hard, maybe overcooked. For two bowls and one drink it was about $40, which is a little steep for what we got. The service is okay, nothing special. Same for the vibe of the restaurant. It's an open and bright spot with several tables and chairs. This used to be my go-to spot when in this area, but I probably won't return.

Palate: Middle Eastern, specifically Egyptian. Taste: Delicious. Service: Friendly and professional. Value: Upper mid-range ($16-20 per person). Environment: Sparkling clean.

This is your Mediterranean version of Chipotle. You pick your protein, decide on a bowl, pita, or kabob. Then they have topping to finish them off. I got the spicy pork shawarma. The pork had ZERO spice. They put the toppings in the end and eating it was really messy. The highlight of the meal was that fountain sodas. Had a pineapple cream soda and went back for agave vanilla cream soda, both DELICIOUS! Wish the food was as good as the soda! Oh well. I was also disappointed with how dirty the restaurant was. Staff showed zero pride of ownership. It was a nice modern interior but the lazy staff doesn't clean!

Food was really goood! Definitely worth the try I loved their homemade salad and everything over all was really good. Wait wasn't to long only waited about 4 minutes on fresh chicken I definitely recommend coming and giving it a try

Foods great and service is great! BUT, the place is dirty and gross! There is a large fan above the food that blows out air and the TV screen above the food is full of black dust and debris.

Amazing food place! I ordered the lamb+beef bowl and it was one of the best tasting experiences I've had at a place in a while. Service was great, very friendly and helpful people, I sampled new things before adding them into my bowl to make sure it was something I liked and they were more than willing to help. Great environment and music as well. 10/10

When I used the restroom to wash my hands, there were no paper towels in the dispenser or an air-dryer. . The food was delicious. And suffered no ill effects. I did ask for a table knife to cut the large portions of meat in my dish. And I was given a plastic fork. While we were eating, a group of people came in, and the server told them they were "Closed". One of the men was walking out upset when the server said, 'he was kidding'. Wow! How unprofessional. Bottom line: I like giving favorable reviews, and it pains me to give a 1-2 star review, but it is necessary in hopes they make corrections or people find somewhere else to eat. Two lunch-size meals came to just over $50.00. The overall experience was meh . Unable to recommend this restaurant to friends and family, based on our experience.
