My friends and I ordered a few dishes to share: Panang Curry (chicken), Pad Thai (shrimp), and Mongolian Beef. They also offer vegan options but we didn't try any of them. The mongolian beef didn't have much meat, mostly veggies. Pad thai was savory, which was different from what I'm used to but we found it enjoyable. It was flavorful. I chose spice level 2 for the panang curry. We all loved it, but my friends found it too spicy. Since I love spicy food, it was perfect for me. They have live music here. I don't know if they play every night or just on weekends (we went on a Sunday). The band started playing around 7:30pm, just after we finished eating and had already paid. We wanted to hear them play, so we stayed for a little bit, and they were great. We were gonna go somewhere to have dessert, but decided to order desserts here instead. We got the Mango Sicky Rice and Sweet Roti. The mango sticky rice was disappointing. The mango was warm and the rice was crunchy. On the other hand, we loved the sweet roti. It was soft and buttery. I personally felt there was a bit too much condensed milk, but my friend thought it was perfect that way. The place was clean and the ambiance was great. Customer service was good. Prices were reasonable.

This place is on the second level in a plaza in Chinatown. They open until midnight almost every night and most times have live music. Food options are your typical Thai food it seems. I notice there was a nice section for vegan options as well. I ordered the pad Thai which was really tasty. People I was with mention the portion on the smaller side but taste was decent. Definitely a go if I'm in the area during late nights.

Overall the food was very bland. I ordered the Orange chicken and a thai tea. The chicken was very bready and the sauce was very low on flavor. To say I was disappointed as an understatement. Debugger was decent.

Live music in this place. Just open the restaurant for dinner. We will try for today.

Bar lounge. We are trying for the first time. We are one of the first ones to get in here. Ginger garlic soy chicken. It is ok for early dinner. It needs more veggies in the entree.

Went to this location to go to Veggie Cafe which is unfortunately closed on Tuesdays. I got the Tofu Pad Thai. It was really good. The portion size was a bit small. It was $16

This Thai food place is underrated. They deserve more recognition because of the quality of their food and service. Five star for me as a Thai food lover. They even have a live music performer to entertain the customers. The place is great for date night and the prices are very reasonable. Will definitely come back.

Yay for random finds !We were originally going to a dim sum place but since it was closed we drove around and came across this place. Coming in we were greeted right away and we were sat right away. Our server was nice and checked in on us often. We ordered the shrimp tum yum ,chicken yellow curry, and the drunken noodles. All the food was delicious and very flavorful and made fresh. The spicy levels are 1-5 and five being the spiciest we got a level two and was just right enough kick but not to overwhelming. Thank you for a great first experience and we'll definitely be back to try more yummy dishes.

Our favorite go to Thai restaurant is in the middle of opening a new location, so we weren't able to eat it this trip. We were in the mood to eat Thai so we tried this place. We were greeted promptly by their wait staff and sat down. We ordered shumai, drunken noodles and Basil Scent. The Basil Scent was full of flavor and amazing. As for the Drunken Noodles, I was disappointed because it lacked any type of flavor/spice. I don't know if they forgot to add it or that's how they make it. It was the worst drunken noodles I've ever had. I will say the Basil Scent saved this place for us. I even took some of the leftover sauce and put it on the drunken noodles. The staff were friendly and it was a great environment with the music and decor. We would definitely be back for the Basil Scent.

You are greeted quickly and placed on a waitlist (it was busy when I arrived). There's a seating area near the front door but also a few seats along the far side of the wall next to the kitchen door. It's designed to look like a high end restaurant: impressive bar, beautiful ceiling lights, and a mixture of booths and tables. There is seating at the bar as well so if you want to stop for a quick bite with a cocktail, it's perfect. Service: Quick and courteous. What else can I ask for? They use OpenTable so feel free to reserve a seat on that app, it'll help them out immensely when it's rush hour. The servers are quite knowledgeable about the dishes. They even warn you when you've chosen dishes with the same flavor profile. I heard our server guide the tables around us as well with the same attention. Their most known dish is their fried A15 Prawn. Garlic-y, crispy edible shell, and a springy fresh shrimp meat underneath. Yes, you can eat the whole thing, shells and all. Our second dish was their Nam Kao Todd and it had just the right amount of spice and tanginess. The crunch from the rice was a lovely texture because the dish was served fresh. I don't know how it would do if you ordered this for takeout, though. This one is VERY spicy so buyer beware? Third dish was Me Krob. This one wasn't my favorite of the three but I still enjoyed it. The crispness of the noodles absorbed the sweet and tangy sauce they pour on top. Overall: I'd come back if I'm in town!

We had made a reservation online anyway so we didn't wait to get seated. The staff was super friendly and gave us a rundown of recommendations. They have your usual items like pad Thai, but also had a lot of northern Thai dishes. To start, we got the fish cakes (tod mun plar) and nam kao tod, a type of crispy rice dish. Both recommended by our server. Really delicious! At spice level 5, it tasted a bit above mild. Our server said spice level 4 is like jalapeño spice. For our entrees, I tried the thum ka noon, a dish made with shredded young jackfruit pounded with aromatic spices, ground pork, and tomatoes. At spice level 7 it was spicy! Not difficult to eat, but probably at the spice level I wanted. My friends got pad Thai and pad see ew. Always classic! Also very good! My sister also tried the Thai tea. Slightly different tea flavor than usual but not as sweet and still refreshing. Overall, food came out really fast and service was smooth. Can't wait to come back again and try other unique items on the menu!

The staff is very knowledgeable about gluten free and the menu is very well marked. I was very disappointed because I wanted to substitute the noodles the had in a different dish for gluten free noodles so I could eat it but they wouldn't allow it which was insanely disappointing and frustrating to me. Everything we had though tasted good and I like that you can customize the spice level. The short rib fried rice is their thing they are the most popular for and I can see why, it was good. The biggest negative on the food was the steamed sticky rice. It was dry and hard and really difficult to eat.

The space itself is inviting with stylish décor and a warm, modern atmosphere that makes it perfect for both casual dinners and hosting friends. Service is consistently excellent--attentive, welcoming, and polished every time we visit. Our Usual Order: 1) Garlic Herb Crispy Prawns - Hands down some of the best in the city. The prawns arrive perfectly crisp with a generous coating of golden garlic and herbs. Each bite has that satisfying crunch before giving way to tender shrimp. 2) Mango Crispy Catfish - A beautiful contrast of textures. The crispy catfish is topped with bright slices of mango and finished with a chili-lime dressing that ties everything together. The dish is vibrant, colorful, and bursting with flavors. 3) Crab Fried Rice - The rice comes generously packed with large pieces of crab and works perfectly alongside the other dishes. It's hearty enough to share. 4) Dessert here is as much about presentation as it is about enjoyment. The Mango Sticky Rice is beautifully plated, and the Egg Yolk Ice Cream is a unique treat that's rich and creamy without being overly sweet--the perfect way to end the meal. The wine list is surprisingly impressive for a Thai restaurant. We usually pair our meal with Orin Swift Blank Stare Sauvignon Blanc, which complements the dishes wonderfully. There's also a full bar, and the Lamaii Old Fashioned is worth trying--smooth, aromatic, and beautifully balanced. If you're looking for a spot with great atmosphere, attentive service, and dishes that are consistently well-executed, Lamaii is always a solid choice.

Coming from LA, we have decent Thai food, but honestly this place blows everything else out of the water. Tucked in the corner of a shopping mall with quite a few other restaurants, you might miss it if you're driving by. Here are the dishes we've tried so far: Pad Thai (9.5/10) - The best pad thai I've had - nice and moist, with great flavor. I'm normally indifferent to pad thai but having this one makes me realize that most of the other pad thai I've has been dry - no wonder I enjoyed this one so much more. Garlic Herb Crispy Prawn (10/10) - The star of the show - nice, large prawns fried to perfection and covered with a tasty garlic sauce. This is the one we get every time we go. Gang Pu (7.5/10) - Solid amount of crab meat in a curry sauce. The vermicelli noodles come on the side and you can add them into the sauce when you want. It's good but I wish there was a little more curry sauce in the dish. Pra Dook Pad Pren (7/10) - On taste alone this probably gets a 9/10 but we thought the portion was a bit small. The catfish is very tasty and the sauce was on point. Just wish it was a little bigger portion. Panang w/ Crispy Duck (9/10) - the duck is very moist and flavorful, swimming in the panang curry it's really a wonderful dish. There is a good amount of sauce which we like so we can add it onto the steamed rice. Panang w/ Crispy Prawns (8.5/10) - See above but with crispy prawns instead of duck. Enjoyable but I think I prefer the duck a little more for this type of dish. Garlic Green Beans (9.5/10) - Didn't know what to expect but really pleasantly surprised with this dish. The green beans are covered with a super flavorful garlic sauce. A nice compliment to any of the other dishes considering there's not a ton of vegetable options on the menu. The tasteful traditional decor and dark wood sets a nice mood for a pleasant meal. Sure, the view out of the window could be better (you just get a view of the corner of the parking lot) but other than that I can't complain. Also, the service is really stand out - they always treat us very nice and check on us regularly. Shoutout to Pinky - she's super sweet and they've given us a little ice cream dessert when we've come on our birthdays. In a city with so many great food options this one stands out for me. Can't wait to go back!

Our food did take quite sometime to arrive, but when it did come it was piping hot and smelled absolutely heavenly. The Pad Thai noodles were cooked to perfection, the sauce had the right amount of umami flavors, and the fresh veggies and peanuts mingled everything together beautifully. As for the curry, it was just okay but it didn't have those rich aromatic flavors we're accustomed to. The curry may have not been our favorite, but the rest of the food we've tried has been pretty spot on.
