Came by for a Thai massage the other day and it was a world class experience. Texted the massage parlor in the morning and managed to get a spot in the afternoon.
The massage parlor is located on a side street and had a buzzer to get in. There is a nice waiting area with a comfortable sofa while waiting for the massage therapist.
Before getting shown into the room, there was some upselling by the employee suggesting a "Sports massage" vs my request for a strong traditional Thai yoga massage without oil. The massage started off medium until I suggested to the therapist that I prefer a strong massage, just like in Thailand.
The massage featured very strong pressure along with numerous stretches that made 55 minute massage go by quickly! The therapist also provided a change of Thai massage clothes which was helpful, although the changing time was also included in the massage time...
According to the staff, the massage parlor seems to be famous as it's frequently on TV with both athletes and politicians visiting the parlor.
...it was odd, however, that numerous staff members kept on coming into the room to "get towels"... definitely a first, during the massage session.
