We had a nice conversation with one of the sellers (the father - David) who agreed an offer. We returned the following week with our mechanic and the drove the car. The uncle (Alex?) whispered something to the young man and suddenly the previous offer agreed was no longer valid and they were asking for £200 more on a £13K deal and withdrew the other little perks! We said to call the dad and they made excuses "oh he's in Spain and not reachable". This was pure nonsense as far as I care. This sort of behaviour has certainly left a bad taste on what would have otherwise been a very pleasant purchase. They took advantage of knowing we drove up a second time and done a u-turn on what was agreed. BEAWARE - YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Very very shoddy dealer, bought a used car from here at Christmas, only known problem was water in…read moreone headlight, which was obvious and i knew before i bought the car, test drive went well, nothing obvious and everything looked and sounded good. Within the first month the clutch and flywheel both went costing us another £1k to repair and now the brake callipers have seized at the rear and need replacing. They obvious do not check their cars completely before selling them, i would never use them again and I'm actively telling others to avoid this dealer, your life is worth more than you would save.

Once we had seen a car that matched our requirement we asked for a test drive and were handed the keys without any fuss. They ask you to stay within the trading estate which makes it a little hard to assess the ride at 70mph, but that apart, it was fine Then a chance to talk, no attempt to hard sell or dissuade us when we said we wanted to go away and check others. Luckily the car we had chosen (lovely white Megane Coupe) was still there the next weekend, and we did the deal with the minimum of fuss after a little negotiation. Picked it up later that week, serviced and MOT'd (The latter I am not that convinced was particularly thorough, the headlight alignment was all over the place - but it's still valid). I haven't had a chance to test the three month warranty, and am hoping we won't have to. Also, as we bought cash I can't comment on their part-exchanges. Personally I try and avoid part-ex anyway. I found it a bit disappointing that some of the cars on display were not prepared properly - after all they are trying to sell them! After booking in my vehicle for the advertised 'all makes and models' mot and of £35 and £89…read morerespectively i picked up my car (which passed its MOT) to be found to have been charged over double the advertised price without my knowledge or consent. When a complaint was raised i was told i was wrong to assume the advertised rate is what i would recieve and the company stood by their member of staff who claims she told me verbally over the phone that this would be case. No such effort was made and no proof could be provided by the company (as this is not what was asked for - i had no knowledge of any other price or agreement). The advertisement doesn't say 'from' 35 and 89 - it simply states all makes and models 35 and 89 respectively. I am disgusted and have now made reports to trading standards, action fraud and my bank after the company has chosen not to reimburse the wrongfully taken funds and has offered me no apology - even going so far as to ignore my further correspondance. I believe this is a scam and had i been elderly or vulnerable in any way i could have been led to believe that i'd forgotten that an alternative price and service was agreed however, i'm not and i haven't so i can't stand by and let it happen to others.
