Considering that I wouldn't have been able to stop if it was the common museum hours like 10 or 11 am open, I was very thankful. Moreover the information they provide within the exhibit in the building (the aerial photos are awesome!), and the great booklet they hand you for the self guided tour through the ruins are excellent. Make sure to have a hat and wear good footwear, as there are no shades and the path down to the ruins are steep. Also don't forget to thank the museum staff, and buy something from the shop to support them!

This building and exhibit was…read moredonated by former late mayor Robert Culpepper and includes a rotating display of Native American rugs. His personal collection was over 400 so you'll need to stop by often. The building is beautifully refinished. The displays provide detailed information on each rug. The staff is friendly and helpful. In the future, additional exhibits and crafts for kids will become available. It's a free exhibit but donations are welcomed.

Very disappointed!…read more Took my stained glass to Wall-art 3/16/2022 for "professional" framing; It is a special memorial piece for a dear friend who lost her mother. I was assured by Kassidy that she would do justice to my piece and that it would take about 1 1/2 weeks to complete. I called 3/28 and was told by Kassidy that she was still waiting for my frame. On 4/5/2022 I again called to inquire about my piece and was told the "frame was out for delivery but her driver had covid and wouldn't let anyone else deliver for him" (really?). She then told me that she had another frame very similar to the frame I had ordered and that they could build me a frame from the "extra material" and she'd install it as we had discussed. I agreed to that because she assured me it was in fact close to what I had initially ordered. I received the piece 4/7 and noted several issues immediately. #1 The colors on the front and the back were drastically different from each other (initially we had discussed her staining the back of the frame and that she'd "get as close as she could" in color to the front...clearly they are nowhere close to matching, see pics). #2 There is a broken edge to a posterior corner of the frame. #3 The silicone to secure the piece into the frame was very poorly and unprofessionally done (an attempt at smoothing the bead of clearly visible silicone would have been nice). I think the pictures taken speak for themselves...hardly worthy of the $210+ charged for the "professional" frame and installation. When I called to discuss the issues I was at first assured all would be made right. After taking the piece back and waiting 2 weeks with ZERO contact, today I was told that they could do nothing to rectify the situation. No refund, "it's a custom frame" (mind you this is NOT the frame I initially ordered). As the issue was pressed they did say they could remove my glass piece, "clean it up" (remove silicone), they could then order MY frame, the one I initially wanted.....but wait, I was told it was "out for delivery and their driver had covid" (so where is that frame?), and then they would give me that frame and my piece and I could install it myself........ Well, if you want something done right.....you either do it yourself OR you take your business elsewhere and get it done RIGHT! Which is EXACTLY what I'll do in the future!
