We called by to buy Norwegian made winter coats. They had exactly what we needed for our own use and for gifts. We too live in a cool rainy place.
Being Norwegian meant three things were guaranteed - the clothing could withstand the Arctic, the quality was ace and the prices were high.

I did raise the allied fact that Norway stays away from membership but we all know it's because they would immediately become a nett contributor and they'd rather keep more of their own money to spend on their own citizens. Something that the current right wing British Government promised their citizens but like so much else they just lied about.
As we arrived and departed by cruise ship we were able to re claim the tax as a rebate at the last Norwegian port which on our purchases en route to Iceland was Ålesund and Bergen on the return journey to Southampton England.
