His poor organizational timeline caused unnecessary delays and on multiple occasions he got details of my case wrong and documents had to be redrafted; at least twice confusing my wife's and my information. This was most notable when he thought (well into the case and with a signed property agreement in hand, mind you) that I was paying her in the settlement rather than the reality that I was receiving funds from her. In the end the case went as expected and other than a few weeks worth of unnecessary delays I was not harmed. When looking for a lawyer though, is this really the standard you want to use?

I was assigned to Mr. Daniel Szieber who' without formal introduction, courtesy, or having all the details of my case, (his initial call (Fri, July 12, 2024)) was full of discouragement, criticism, and judgement. His limited assessment of my case totally contradicted that of Mr. Malloy's assessment. I asked him to be more encouraging, and positive, and to work together to build trust. I offered to provide a full detailed timeline from my case in which I did and then asked to meet him in a formal in-person, meet and greet which he denied, substituting it with a phone call on Monday (Jul 15, 2024). I did not receive a call on Monday afternoon as agreed on and did not get my calls after I tried calling him three times. He called me the next day between 8-9am to say that "the case is too complicated, with too many problems," and that he would no longer represent me. Please note that again, he did not have all the details of my case, nor have we met in person, etc. It seemed to me that Mr. Szieber, from the first call, was uninterested and perhaps too intimidated to take the case. From being assured by Mr. Malloy (very friendly by the way), to being told otherwise by Mr. Szieber, makes my experience with Mallow Law extremely disappointing!
