The room was quite warm and the A/C did not respond when I lowered the temperature. When I was preparing to eat at the restaurant downstairs I realized that the safe battery was dead. I ate at the restaurant (good tiramisu) and I came back and called for service on the A/C and the safe. An adjustment was made in the ceiling and got the A/C working but only dropped in temp 3C in 8 hours. The room had all the basic needs. Check-out was easy and the walk to the airport terminals was also easy. This could have been a four star experience if the A/C worked better. Three stars!

Since she was so unkind and argumentative and I had not beem charged, I left and went elsewhere. The next day I get a notice from booking stating I was a No show , the manager said I never checked in. Total baloney scammers. I will never use booking. com again and recommend you stay elsewhere when you have a layover at Fumincino Airport.by the, way it is now called Giorgia .I will be disputing this charge.

They were so helpful and were able to provide a ride to our tour meeting spot the next day. They also provided a GREAT breakfast. The owners operate the hotel and the extra care shows. For dinner that first night we walked up the street, from the hotel, and had great seafood restaurant choices as they are only a half mile from the sea. Great hotel close to the airport!

It has clean modern décor, balconies, a great included breakfast, and is only 6 rooms. You get personalized service from the owner and his two sons. They will shuttle you to your terminal the next morning, a 5 minute ride. These are the most friendly helpful people you will ever meet. There are 6 or 8 restaurants in walking distance. Beware, your GPS will NOT take you there - ours was off by a mile. The Sleep and Fly is directly across the street from the Best Western Rome Airport. Perfect place for that overnight before flying!

I withheld the fifth star for the same reason someone else already mentioned: the shower arrangement. I only experienced a little of the slipperiness he described. But I don't get the 1/3 plexiglass shower "curtain." Perhaps I'd get better with additional practice, but it seemed impossible to avoid some ricocheting water getting on the floor. One of out previous hotels had a 1/2 "curtain," which was a little better. Overall, I'd certainly come back here.

We arrive in Rome from Venice via train to catch our early morning international flight. The room is a clean standard king room. Our overnight stay was fine.. no complaints. If you are arriving the hotel late in the evening, there are very limited eating options. The dining room restaurant in the lobby was closing shop when we arrived at 8pm. There is a shelf of snacks, drinks, and a microwaveable items available in the lobby for purchase. Make sure to fill up at the airport before you arrive late at night. There are no restaurants within walking distance. The morning airport shuttle is convenient. Check out is a breeze.

The breakfast in the morning was sweetly prepared and presented. We'd consider using this option again if flying out of FCO to avoid waking up at the crack of dawn in Rome.
