We found this B&B on booking.com; once off the train we followed google how to get here and unless you have very little luggage...it was a treck getting here. I'd find a bus/taxi in retrospect. Once here there is nothing to let you know you are here but to look by doors for little face-place on building. (FYI-It's next to Sushi place) we pushed buzzer, pushed...no response so hubby went up the stairs-floor after floor(no lights, very dark-owner says going to have fixed??!) he's now knocking on door bec he has no idea where our place is. Residents are calling owner, Jacob comes down (lives in building, that's good) he takes us to our room, it is nice (love the hardwood floors). There appear to be about 7/8 rooms all individually to be rented on our floor (like a dorm with main area and then locked rooms) breakfast is 3 more floors up ( we are on 3rd floor already so 6 flights up) and is nice, typical Italy spread. The attendant is helpful with how to make coffee/hot milk etc. there are diff breads, butter, jams, cereals, pkg pastries, yogurt, sliced cheese/meats but highlight she made fresh, hot croissants with peach jam inside-delicious!
Sorry so long-suggestions.. need little bars of soap for shower (had little pkg of shampoo, not the same), prefab shower which we appreciated in room, the floor is very slippery (need grip strips for feet and safety), lights on steps!
PS-string of lights were hung in the stairwell. read more
