Tiphanie, the server, was so sweet and helped me with the menu. I ordered the confit de Conard, with salad and chip. I was so happy as the food was delicious and fresh. The duck was done perfectly, tender and melt in your mouth with the skin. The chips were different from the US, better. I fully enjoyed my meal and surroundings with kids in the playground. Highly recommended!!

This place is perfect for "brunch" / late lunch on weekends or for an afternoon tea/pastry!…read more If it's sunny, the terrace is awesome. But if it's gray or rainy, the inside is pretty cosy too with all their exposed tea pots. They offer awesome fresh scones, muffins and savory tarts "of the day" served with a salad. Also there is a main course of the day (pretty simple, like spaghetti bolognaise or tajine), salads, salmon tartar... I always get the scones, to me they are more "empanadas" but that's just a detail. The dough is delicious. Often filled with chicken and pineapple, chicken curry and such... Big selection of teas, you'll get a big tea pot, nice to share with your +1 if you want. Regarding the pastries.... THE BEST PART! The meli-melo is cool because you get to try three types of cakes. My absolute favorite are the white chocolate and raspberries and the praline crunch (super dense but super YUMMY: caramel, chocolate, praline/hazelnuts). The cheesecake is pretty cool but a tiny bit dry and would maybe be better with a topping (chocolate or raspberry syrup?). Staff is friendly (some English speakers), waiting time: not long. Highly recommend!

Be warned that it does not resemble "British tea" in any way. There are no courses. No menu/formule. You choose a plat which comes with a salad on the same plate as a single course. The salad served with my main was iceberg lettuce with a single half of a cherry tomato extremely lightly dressed with a weak vinaigrette. They were out of the chicken so for my main I ordered the goat cheese and potato tart. It was OK - tasted like something you would be served in a cafeteria or a museum café. My kids ordered the menu enfant. It was potato chips (I guess they see that as British), a rock hard ham and cheese panini and fruit. Neither their meal nor mine came with beverages or dessert. We were in and out of the restaurant in less than 45 minutes - which is unheard of and sitdown French restaurants. The service was just OK. The food was so bad that we decided not to get the dessert and went to a nearby patisserie instead. I would recommend going to Le Salon d'Eugenie instead. They do serve a British style tea, the food is decent, and the prices are way better than at Bapz. The only thing this place had going for it was the cute tea cups and cozy, although cluttered interior.

They had other flavors with asparagus, others with seafood etc, and they probably have 4-5 savory crepe flavors on the menu to choose from. The savory crepe that I had was a buckwheat crepe that was almost deconstructed where the toppings were on top which was nice because it was prettier and it didn't make the crepe part as soggy. The crepe I got had a generous amount of duck with sauce, figs, and spinach which was a nice combo and not quite as heavy as something with cheese. I really enjoyed the savory crepe and would come back here again. The sweet crepe had honey and banana and was way too sweet. I wouldn't recommend this one. Maybe something else with chocolate, but there was too much honey on this and I almost couldn't eat it. The ambiance inside is cozy and nice - it's a bit on the small side so best to come with just one other person or a party of 3-4 max. They also take credit cards which is nice. I'll come back here again to try more savory crepes. It's not the cheapest place in Toulouse for France, but it's pretty good and has more inventive flavors/combinations than others.

They have a pretty small menu that changes every week depending on what they have in season, which is great because there's variety and the things are fresh. They seem to have 2 pastas, a salad, 2 sandwich choices, and a few desserts that they bake in house. You can get just a sandwich, a salad, or a plate of pasta. Or you can get a sandwich + dessert, salad + dessert, or if you want coffee or tea, they have that too. The sandwiches are pre-made so they are the fastest to grab and go. The salads take a little more time to prepare so you may have to wait 10-15 min. The salad I got had soba noodles, basil, carrots, and some lettuce with a soy-ginger vinaigrette. It was delicious and refreshing; slightly on the smaller side but that meant more room for dessert. The desserts made in house are also delicious. I had an almond apricot cake; they also had cookies, and ice cream / sorbet. The place is really cute but small, so if you have more than 4 people you may want to go elsewhere. They have only a few tables and 2 armchairs. There is no air conditioning but they have free WiFi, so I was able to do a little work on my laptop there. Would recommend this place and will definitely come here again and again!
