I'm sure it's not normal to have this much affection for a DIY store
It is easy to get to with plenty of parking once you arrive. As a warehouse it is very large and has a good Trade section too.
For all it is large it isn't daunting but actually very comfortabke to browse around. It has all the usual DIY products, a large selection plus bathroom and kitchen displays. The lighting section is one of the best I have seen - very inpsiring. They also ave fires and fire surrounds.
The bare bones of DIY - wood etc is plentiful.
Outside there is a small garden section and all thouh pricey the plants are very good quality.
Their seasonal displays and goods in summer and at Christmas are very good. In fact they carry some very interesting and unusual Christmas decorations.
The staff are very helpful and they do carry more 'mature' staff who have a wealth of DIY knowledge they are only to happy to share with you. I've learnt a lot of DIY hints and tips here!
There is a customer toilet in store and a small coffee shop which serves a very good cuppa and has a range of sandwiches and cakes. If you are dashing out mid project it's a nice place to have a quick break. read more
