This is the worst taxi company in the history of taxis. They are always late just don't show up or leave you there waiting forever for them to come back when Thier supposed to wait for you. I usually take B&D Taxi to my appointments. I normally call night before to confirm my trips as I was told to do so this lady is so nasty. I do not recommend taking this taxi company unless you wanna be stressed out and talk to some type of way I've talked to some other drivers that have taken me and they say she is nasty and she's going through a lot but you know what everyone else is going through a lot and it's not OK for her to take out her situation on other people this place is awful if I could, I would do 0 stars read more

I hate seeing all the negative reviews. It's like no one takes the time to review anything anymore unless it's bad! Been using this company for years! Everyone is so nice and always accommodating! I have seen the drivers help elderly neighbors with their groceries while dropping them off. They have always been reliable and get me where I need to be safely! Laura, Brian and Chris are the best. Laura had on multiple occasions gotten me to my appointed place and on TIME with ease. She's great, Brian my dude is great, and Chris are great. Idk who the dude covering night shift lately is but not so well. Matt I believe. This cab company is extremely degrading regarding people with mental illness. They often accept the transport request And then don't show up. when caseworkers call to find out why these clients are late. They make up excuses "we sent a cab she didn't get in". Meanwhile case workers are often waiting for the cab with the client and they do not show up. Blaming the client. We have home health aides accompanying our clients. This company is atrocious . If I could leave no stars, I would. I've taken B and D taxi three times (my regrettable mistake) The first time they were twenty minutes late. I've had my ups and downs with B&D but I will say that the owner will go above and beyond to make things right and get you where you need to be. In ANY business dealing with transportation there WILL be an issue time to time but it's how the owner handles the issue that matters and this business owner get 5stars if you ask me. read more

Worst taxi service I've ever used. First time I called for a taxi it takes them 45 mins to get a taxi by that time I was already late for work and in hot water with my boss. The second time I called it took them an hour to send a taxi and of course I was late to work again. Stay. Away. My family has a regularly scheduled family group therapy session on Thursday nights. My spouse set up the ride through medical transportation for the three of us. It is a family appointment. When she called B&D to confirm the ride, she specifically mentioned it was for three people, one of whom (me) is disabled and uses a mobility device so we would need a van. They said it was okay. I had an earlier individual session at the same office earlier in the day and got my own ride there, but we were still supposed to all ride together. She once again reminded the driver who dropped her and our son off (in a dilapidated old car with the roof liner torn and stapled in place). The session ended, we called for our return ride, the van showed up, the driver (who was really supportive and the only reason I can justify even one star) called us in as picked up, and the dispatcher (apparently the owner) refused to take me with my spouse and child and complained that our child was even there because the ride was only for my spouse. We tied up the driver with trying to sort it out and the owner refusing to budge. Eventually the owner told the driver to leave us where we were picked up and go pick up the next customer. Now we are stuck as a family in Newburgh and the clinic is scrambling to get us another ride home. You know a business is run poorly when they refuse the scheduled service and leave a person, her disabled spouse, and child without a ride three towns away from their home. We filed a formal complaint with medical transportation and intend to do the same with their licensing authority. Do not use this company. You will regret it. read more

My friend has had to rely on this company for medical transportation. They either show up early and sit in the driveway blowing the horn (as in an hour early) or they don't show up at all as my friend sits on a rock at the end of our driveway waiting from the appointed time. Not only has she waited weeks (and in some cases months) for the appointments she misses, they are NASTY to her and insist they were here blowing the horn in the driveway!! Don't know whose house they are at, but it certainly is not ours! It is incredibly frustrating to argue with a dispatcher who insists their driver was "there" when you have been the one sitting on a rock reading a book waiting for them for over an hour! We will be investigating other medical transport companies as these folks are incredibly unreliable and generally rude as well. read more

If I could give B&D a zero star rating, i would. I hate this company with a passion. I used t ok use them all the time for my medicals. They would always stuff the cars full to beyond capacity, the drivers would text and talk on the phone while driving, and they would speed. Today I had the unfortunate experience of having them for my medical again. I called to be picked up after my appointment was done and I was told it would be a while. Ok no problem, I'll go next door and get some food. I told them I would be getting food and told them where. Fast forward an hour. I call them again and they tell me that someone was already there for me and that they went inside and could not find me. I asked if the driver knew where I was and they confirmed this to be the case. No driver came in looking for ne, no B&D cab showed up. I was sitting infront of the door watching the entire time. Fast forward another hour. They still have not shown up. So I call again and this time the dispatcher starts yelling at me about how they were there already, how the driver "went inside and everything" and how I would need to wait. Like, wtf. Really? I will never be using this company again and I recommend that others do the same. I've always had bad experiences with this company but this is the last straw. read more
