What a great find tucked away in the back alleys of Badajoz. The restaurant interior is very pleasant, whimsical with a bit of a tropical or even Cuban flare. The service was fantastic, friendly, fast, and attentive. The menu is not overwhelming. One page, starters, raw, meat, and rice dishes. The prices are great, a value in my opinion. I had a taco to start. It was sublime. It was crafted with the freshest ingredients, the meat melted in my mouth, and there was even a bit a heat to it. It was a pleasant spicy and rare for me in Spain. The pork and mushrooms were tender and flavorful. This was a comfort dish anyone could enjoy. Those two dishes with two glasses of wine was enough to fill me up. This was a great experience and I am so happy I found it (accidentally). read more

Bacalao Dorado was a bunch of fries with egg and a ghost of bacalao taste. We returned it but they charged for it 12 Euros anyway. Trying to get away with a good experience we ordered half a portion of Gambones al Ajillo. The gambones were ok but undercooked. Verdejo wine for 13 Euros. Was ok.
