The entrees all seem to be priced as though you are dining at a high end restaurant. For $35 for the salmon stew we expected a much larger portion than a small plate of salmon with onions. It was absolutely delicious but seriously out of line with prices for off strip family run establishments. I would go back to try the patty (they were out) and get more Mac and cheese but I can't justify $35 for that salmon.

I actually started it off planning on going to Lo Lo's but after waiting 20 minutes for an open bar seat, which I could visibly see, I decided to look for something else and that's when I checked the Yelp and up popped this food truck. It is located downtown by the courthouse and parking was a bit sketch but I was able to park in a 10 minute loading zone, jump out and order my food and boy am I glad I did. I ended up ordering the oxtail platter with two sides, which I got the mac & cheese and red beans and rice and then I also got a side of smoked turkey wings. Both meals were delectable! The portion size was enough that I'll probably drive home with half of it, which means all the way back to Arizona! Lol, I would definitely advise anyone living in Vegas to check the spot out but if you are visiting, definitely worth the venture off the strip to get something real.

It was super flavorful, comforting, and tasted like somebody's grandma has been perfecting that recipe for decades. Every bite was a win. The dining area has such a cozy, homey vibe that I honestly didn't want to leave. The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. Bonus points because they also sell Venezuelan groceries! I ended up leaving with Venezuelan butter and a cheese I'd never seen anywhere else, so I accidentally turned lunch into a shopping trip. I'd 100% come back, and the mondongo is definitely getting reordered.

Amazing First Visit, Disappointing Second One! Be careful when ordering!…read more I heard so many great things about the infamous churrasco at this restaurant, so I made the trip and ordered it. My first visit (May 16th) was outstanding! The churrasco was a decent, juicy, and tender NY Strip Steak with perfect thickness, served over yuca fries, sweet plantains, and potatoes. The chimichurri on the side wasn't the authentic Argentinian recipe, but it was still good. I ordered it medium rare, exactly how I like it, and it was amazing, tasty, and delicious. (See photo #1.) Today (June 19th), I decided to stop by again--but it was a huge disappointment. The churrasco I received didn't taste like NY Strip Steak and tasted like the regular cheap meat you get when you go to a bad cheap Mexican restaurant and order the famous carne asada plate. It wasn't cooked to the medium temperature I ordered. The cut was extremely thin, almost like Carne Asada or Chuck Roast (the kind used for their $9.99 corrientazo or the meat they served on the "Bandeja Paisa plate" . It was dried, rubbery, and had no taste whatsoever. I mentioned the issue to the waiter and even showed him the meat while asking for the bill. He told me, "I'm sorry, today was your unlucky day , I will let them know"?. This is Unacceptable. A good restaurant management should approach the customer and replace the meal or not even charging ! He acknowledged it was completely wrong when he saw the meat and apologized sincerely. That honesty was appreciated, but it's stories like this that make a restaurant lose its reputation and push customers away. In my case, I'm now afraid to come back and waste my money. First photo: My amazing churrasco from May 5th. Photos 2 & 3: The disappointing churrasco from today (June 19th). I hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously and improves consistency. A great restaurant can easily become a great and reliable one with better attention to detail. Maybe the cooks picked the wrong meat or sliced it wrong? Just look at images 2 & 3 and compare the big difference--thin and dried! I'm a bit upset about wasting my money for pretty much garbage.
