I took some extra time before posting this review as it could have gone a very different way…read more We've been using Meinke here in Statesville for some regular oil changes on our household vehicle but this was the first time we had a major repair come up. During our last trip in they identified the turbo on our F150 as leaking and the source of the noise we came in about. We also had identified a faulty tire pressure sensor. Fast forward and a few days of waiting for parts it came time for pick up. The sensor wasn't replaced which wasn't the end of the world but was irritating. What was a problem is before I even made it to the stop light the sound occurred again.... So we turned around and brought it back. Stuff happens so we explained the situation they said they would take a look at it. They were unable to identify and we're going to bring in another technician from another shop to look at it... we were asked to bring back the truck. It was a week before the tech could be there but we patiently waited. Diagnosis finally occurred and we were blown away by another $3k on top of the $2k we had just laid on the turbo.....! I was infuriated. If they had probably diagnosed in the first place they wouldnt have had to charge the labor again to remove the turbos and everything they just had done previously. I was an irate customer and asked to to elevate the situation ultimately speaking with the Manager Tyler. Tyler saved the day. We came to fair terms and despite a little more waiting for yet more parts we got the truck fixed. We've all heard stories about how these things can go sideways. I was glad to see a shop step up and do the right thing and keep a customer. Im confident if Tyler hadn't stepped up they would have my future business.

We decided to send our 17 year old to get his car inspected, because we figured that a big name…read moreshop would treat him fairly and not try to take advantage of him. HOW WRONG WE WERE! They tried to tell him he needed everything under the sun! They quoted him over $7000 worth of repairs and services. Tried to scare him about the safety of driving his vehicle home from their shop without having work done on it. Totally tried to take advantage of him. We will NEVER GO BACK TO THIS SHOP, and WILL MAKE SURE THAT EVERYONE WE KNOW OF AVOIDS THIS SHOP. I wish we had read the reviews about dishonesty and taking advantage of customers prior to sending our son there for almost 3 hours to get a simple state inspection. Horrible and unprofessional experience.

Fast, friendly, professional service. Had a trailer flat out on I40 at 5 pm. Called and Miss Tegan…read moresaid they would stay open to help if they had too. I pulled up and Christopher went right to work. In and out in about 30 minute.

This wasn't my first time going to Mr. Tire's, so I didn't second guess going back.(Granted, I only…read morewent for oil changes, tire issues & and a state inspection). But this time around(Friday), I went here for what I thought was my brakes, but it was actually my wheel-bearing. They told me it would be one price, then 1.5 hours later. They called me, and it would be $520 more due to having to cut my cv line. The part was to be there the next day on Saturday. I had to call & was told part didn't come in, will be there Monday. Monday, I got a call that the part is on back order & should be there Thursday. Thursday, I called & they said, "Oh, the part came today & will be put together tomorrow. I stated in EVERY call, "Please communicate updates, because I shouldn't have to call." FRIDAY(a whole week) came I called Hey, I was supposed to get a call my vehicle is ready" The guy says Oh, the dealership we get the parts from is strike & not sure went we will get that part" I was Furious!!! I decided on my best decision with my family. Monday, I got my vehicle towed to a national auto shop(after speaking with them about it). They fixed it in one day & charged me $753.83 less even though Mr. Tire's cut my cv(which was told it didn't need to be cut). Go at your own risk!
