I was recommended to Phil by my in-laws who have been going to him for years (both as a trainer, and for massage). They swear by him, and both see him twice a month. I was able to get in within a week, and very much looked forward to it. He runs his practice out of his house (there is an annex) and the room is warm, cozy and inviting - everything you'd want. But, to be clear, this isn't a spa so don't expect robes and slippers. The massage was fantastic. Phil has a firm hand, and got into all my sore bits - everything you could ask for in a massage. I have re-booked for next month, and highly recommend him. (Unless you like those weak-wrist relaxation massages - then you should probably skip it, or at least let him know.) Good to know: cash or check only - he can provide a receipt for private health. Mostly day time hours, with some evenings in the week, and Saturday morning appointments. read more

I've been with Phil for over 4 yrs. I had 'frozen shoulder' through my nursing, which I had problems with even lifting to hang a drip. Over the 2 yrs. I have had physio, acupuncture with renown Chinese drs, but unable to recover. Phil was recommended to me by a friend, and WOW with patience, expertise and his 'Magic hands", initially seeing him twice a week and then as my movement progresses, extending the times to months, and within 2-3 months, I had complete recovery. Since then I continue with my massage once every 6 wks, to maintain my health. Lately I had symptoms of carpal tunnel with one of my wrists, which the specialist informed me that I would need steroid injections, and if no progress will require surgery. Approached Phil for treatment and Behold yet again I was cured with just i session. I highly recommend Phil- very knowledgeable, and expert in his field and I have to comment, HE HAS MAGIC HANDS. read more

When I tore my rotator cuff, which required surgery, I was pleased when a friend recommended Philip to me, to help in my rehabilitation. Philip conducts his business at his residence, in a purpose built room. He is always punctual, and as he leaves a buffer between clients, you always receive your full allotted time. I was impressed that Philip treated all areas connected to my injured shoulder, i.e. neck and arm. As he has vast experience in massage as well as being a personal trainer, he recommended "cross training" which was helpful not only in my shoulder recovery but also in my body becoming stronger and more flexible. To keep my muscles working efficiently, I still see Philip on a regular basis. read more
