The Rage Cage is a fairly new business in Panama City. The concept is interesting - you get a set…read moreamount of time in a "rage room". They also have axe throwing (also a great stress reliever). Upon entering, we were greeted by Keydon - he was an absolute rock star, to be honest! He was kind, helpful, and energetic - perfect for this business. To start, we did axe throwing. Keydon gave us great instruction on throwing (basic vs. advanced technique). We did that for an hour. It was fun, but man - I'd say about 90% of our throws didn't stick. The wood was hard and knotty, and the axe was dull. We had some good throws that I felt should have stuck. Anyway, it was still entertaining. Also - you pay per person and share the hour. During that hour, we all threw less than we would have had paid the same amount for our own hour... It would make more sense to just charge that out by the hour - the more people that participate, the less they'll throw... so why charge per person? Hm. Then, on to the rage room. They provide you with about 20 breakable items each to destroy - things like glasses, plates, etc. Prior to entering the room, you are dressed in safety clothing (thick jumpsuit, gloves, and a paintball helmet/mask. There are some rules (no hitting at each other, etc). Inside the room, you have music to smash by (just tell Alexa what you want to hear!). I believe you can have up to four people in the room, but two seemed to be ideal (one is fine, but with two, you can be creative). It's a great way to let out some rage! Also, there's the accumulating pile of broken items you can wail on. In all, I'd say this is a good business. It can be better. Like I said - just charge axe throwing by the hour (or by the half hour, if one hour feels like a lot for two people). And maybe soften the wood (I heard some places wet the wood to help soften it). For the rage room, they should broadcast the activity on the many monitors out in the waiting area. Keydon was kind enough to let us watch on the register's monitor... Give this business time to grow and develop. They're onto something, and it can be a raging good time! And keep Keydon - he's the best!

Had our son's 8th birthday party here and it was big hit with all the kids (and parents!) The staff…read morewas super friendly and Tara, the party hostess, was amazing! She kept the kids busy and made every activity a blast! They did every activity except Bazooka ball because it can be a bit much for young ones. As a note, one of our party kids has sensory issues and we were worried he might find some of the activities too stimulating. We were so wrong! He had a blast and really got into everything! Tara made sure he was comfortable at all times and made sure to check with him that he was good to go before starting anything. We have never seen that level of supervision for special needs kids at any party we've attended. The party room was decorated nicely with tablecloths and balloons. We had to provide food, drinks, cake etc. The Vault was fun and the kids had fun trying to be each other's times. The mirror maze is incredible and just challenging enough without being impossible. Laser tag resulted a bunch a tired and sweaty kids. The surprise hit was axe throwing (foam axes!). They just couldn't get enough! Overall, we can't recommend this place enough! We'll definitely be going back especially with the locals discount!

We asked for clues about 15 minutes in and were given several hints, but ultimately were told how to exit the room with 24 minutes to go and before we'd solved half the puzzles in the room. When the door opened, we let ourselves out of the building...no one there to take our photo or even say goodbye. Totally underwhelming for the price and disappointing for my kids. Don't waste your money!

The prices are pretty up there for a race that lasts 6 minutes, but people average between 12 and 16 laps in one race due to the speed of the carts. They also have Ax Throwing as well, and even a little bar area but the bar and eating area was closed. This building seems it's lacking something, but I can't put my finger on it. It seems rather spacious and I feel would do well with some brighter lighting or color. It's rather dull inside, but I can see it's potential. I hope they spruce it up over time. The girl up front seemed really nice and was able to answer any questions we had. She went over all the rules and stipulations and was very knowledgeable.

The carts are fast enough for a good time, just don't expect some type of extra fast experience. I think they go a little to in on the F1 stuff. The "F1 style wheel" is nothing like an F1 wheel there are no gears or shifting". These are just faster go-carts than what you would find at the other tourist traps on the beach. Go hear if the goal is to have just a carting experience. It will be worth your time and money.
