We've been ordering from Awesome Thai for some time now and we always order the same thing through the EAT24 app for delivery: -Pad See Ew w/ chicken -Chicken Noodle dish w/ no onion, lettuce or bean sprouts on white rice -Egg rolls (4) The food is and always has been really good. As I said, we always get delivery but today I decided to pick it up. I called my order in but a few minutes later received a call back...they called me back because they recognized my order and realized I didn't say no bean sprouts, so they wanted to make sure I didn't want any!!! They wanted to make sure my order was correct. Omg!!! I was FLOORED at the attention to detail!!! And the fact that they took the time to call me back to verify that my order was correct is customer service at it's finest! This is my daughter's dish so she wouldn't have touched it if it wasn't perfect (picky eater). I tell ya, by that one simple action they gained a customer for life. Awesome Thai is Awesome! What makes this place stand out from most restaurants is their service. The waitress is so personable, it's like stepping into a friend's house. This place has everything that I look for in a 5 star restaurant: -Great service -Delicious food -Excellent Service -Fair price I love their Tom Kha Gai and Spicy Seafood Spaghetti which are both big enough to feed two people. I want to give a shout out to this place! The food is delicious, the portions are huge and the prices affordable. I usually order for pick up thru Yelp (that uses Grunhub I believe) and my food is always ready within minutes. I highly recommend the Pad Thai with shrimps. Average chicken pad Thai. Nothing was "wrong" with it per se, but I've definitely had more flavorful versions of this dish elsewhere. Their chicken "chow mein" was a little strange to me. The noodles were reminiscent of cheap cook-your-own ramen, which is usually used in lo mein or yakisoba, at least from my experience. It tasted alright as well. What earns this place an above average rating for me (and clearly this is a big one)- AWESOME THAI DELIVERS. I often crave Thai food, and very few places in this area deliver. I did this through the yelp site which goes through Eat24, a process that could not be simpler! The delivery was within the quoted time, which also makes me a happy girl. We have ordered take-out from here twice, so my review is based on those times. So far we have really enjoyed both the food and value. The chicken satay is great - just wish they did beef! The steamed dumplings are great too. We enjoyed the pad thai, certainly better than pad thai at most of our local take-outs. What I really enjoy though is that the prices and service are excellent. Delivery is speedy and friendly. I'll go out of my way to order here instead of closer establishments for this reason alone. read more

So far, so good. I plan on coming here again. Had the Pad Woon Sen, asked for no bean sprouts, and what did it come back with?! NO BEAN SPROUTS! Thankfully, a place that listens! It was very tasty and not soaked with oily sauce like I've had before. Fiance had the salmon teriyaki that was very good and plentiful. He didn't want rice, asked for double steamed veggies, and no onion (since he's allergic), and sure enough, like mine, it came out exactly how he wanted it. Mickey was very nice to talk to, as well. She was on top of things and did her job well. The cook apparently does too, since the food was delicious. The only thing I'm bummed about is the fact that it's further from where we live, but we will definitely be back to eat here whenever we are in the area. read more

Ordered for delivery and I am impressed! Delivery was pretty speedy and the food was still pipping hot. They don't have a delivery charge which is great as well. I got the "spicy noodles" with chicken, fried shrimp, and thai tea. Everything was delish! Having tried just about every Thai place in the valley, Awesome Thai was up next to try. With a name like Awesome Thai you expect quite a lot. You have to be pretty sure your food is the tops. They would be better served with a name like, Good Thai, and that would not be misleading. Their thai food was good. I ordered to-go, though they do have a small dining area, maybe two 2 tops and two 4 tops. I usually start with the classics at a new Thai place before going more signature/regional dishes, so I ordered the following... Chicken Satay - The chicken was moist and had some good char marks, but was not seasoned. So this put a lot of pressure on the peanut sauce, which was good. Not awesome. The sauce was a good consistency but I think I prefer a bit more peanut flavor, this one was a bit monotone. Chicken Pad Thai - The pad thai was actually better then good, it verged on awesome to be honest. I would recommend this dish for sure. BBQ Pork Fried Rice - I LOVE fried rice, so I have a high standard. This fried rice was just okay. The rice was a bit harder then I like and the overall flavor was a little to bland. I think Thai fried rice should have some serious spice flavor to it (not necessarily spicy, but made with spices...for flavor). This was just normal fried rice with some BBQ Pork which was okay. The lady I checked out with was very polite and the service was fast. I would eat here agin if someone said it was their favorite place and be happy, but I would not come back on my own again. read more

SO glad I found this place. For crazy days when food needs to come to my office, I've felt like I was in a food Bermuda triangle. No longer! I ordered the Pad Woon Sen, which was yummy and the perfect size (I had enough for my rushed lunch with a little bit left over for a late afternoon nosh) and Thai Iced Tea. I was crushed to learn that they had to stop offering Thai Iced Coffee. They said they just don't have enough people ordering it. So I got a small Thai Iced tea and I'm really glad I tried it. Usually Thai Iced Tea leaves a bad taste in my mouth. This time I could taste all the ingredients (in a good way). Not sure if it's fresh tea or from a mix, but either way it had a delicious tea flavour. The Pad Woon Sen (with tofu for me) was perfectly balanced - not too salty while also not too bland. The ratio of glass noodles to veggies was good too. I didn't feel like they were trying to hid inferior produce with a mound of noodles. We will absolutely be ordering work lunches from here again - and maybe even take-home meals as well. read more

This place was delicious! Babe and I both had no drive to cook and we just moved to our new spot.. So we ordered through yelp ( Besides the fact that yelp always takes SO long *50-70 min to deliver has nothing to do with the food) Everything was great! We ordered the Garlic string beans with chicken, I could of ate the whole thing by myself! LOL just delish. We also got the beef with Broccoli, Im always worried about this dish because alot of place use fatty beef, not this place! was nicely thin cut and the sauce, OMG pour it on everything!! With that said, or written I guess, I've unofficially declared a quest to eat at as many Thai restaurants as I possibly can, and this is yet another place I found using GrubHub. I ordered Pad Thai, Spicy Fried Rice, and Prik Khing Chicken for delivery. Delivery was fast and friendly. Pad Thai: 4 Stars Nothing out of the ordinary here as I find that most Pad Thai dishes tend to be traditional and similar. Very tasty though. Spicy Fried Rice: 4 Stars Packed the right amount of heat, but was a tad oily for my liking. The flavor was good so no biggie. Prik Khing Chicken: 5 Stars Yummy. A gem of a place. I order online from them frequently, and the food always arrives piping hot even though we're 3+ miles away. The Tom Kha Kai is perfectly seasoned, the Pad See Ew has tons of protein (not just a bunch of veg), and I don't know what they put in their Chicken Satay but it's delicious. Their Thai Iced Tea is truly magnificent. As a side note, their large drinks are a truly gargantuan 32 oz. Perfect for leftovers! My only regret is that they're closed on Tuesdays--but everyone deserves time off so I can't fault them for that one. read more

Nobody beats this Thai Place! Believe me, I've looked. I used to come here constantly when I lived in Reseda and would have yellow curry and some form of noodles, depending on my desires for the evening. Everything was excellent. Their boba iced teas are perfect and the service is outstanding. I just love the woman who works there! I've been to a few other places since, and some are good, some not so good, but none of them can match the deliciousness of this place right here. It is reasonably priced and even though there's several other options in the strip mall, this is the best choice. We've never actually gone to this restaurant before--have only ordered delivery. I feel like the first time was risky since we had no idea what to expect, and I was craving Thai food desperately! Haha! The BF has only ever ordered their fried rice, which is like its name... Awesome! It put Thai fried rice on my radar again. (FYI, Chinese and Thai fried rice are not the same--as I'm finding out ppl assume.) I've ordered the Tom Kah Gai and their Spicy Spaghetti Noodles. The Tom Kah is also AWESOME!! The noodles weren't that great (had high hopes but can't win 'em all)--it was spicy but on the bland side considering how Thai dishes are usually flavorful. We'll definitely keep ordering from here but i would just order what I know is good (will keep trying different dishes off their menu). read more

I can only speak for the Pad Won Seen and the mango sticky rice- both were delicious! Good portions of beef to glass noodle ratio and baby corn! Mango was delicious and the rice alone tasted like waffles (meaning it wasn't too sweet, wasn't too bland or salty). They didn't have a huge selection but the favorites (Pad Thai, Thom Ka, Wonton, Larb, spicy) were all there. This place seems like they stick to a small menu and make sure the food is quality. The red curry gets two stars The green curry also two stars The pad Thai gets three stars The fried rice gets three stars The portions of the curries are too small for what I paid for them. The fact that they put absolutely no sauces in my delivery bag gets zero stars but since there's no zero stars then I'll have to give it a one star. So the total average I would say is Two stars for this place. I won't be ordering from here again. I'm sticking to Elephant Hut in Encino. Or Orchid Thai in woodland hills. I've eaten here a few times. I've loved the food, but the rice dishes are not as good as the noodles. This place has good noodles and soups. But the rice is dry and low in vegetables and flavor. I am a big fan of spicy Thai fried rice. And I use that as a metric to judge most Thai places. This place had below par Thai basil fried rice. But their pad Thai is pretty rich. So I recommend this with a grain of salt. read more
